Welcome to the first issue of the new year. We begin our issue with the start of a yearlong series on colour theory and mixing with Steve Strode. Although he will be using acrylics and oils, the series is aimed at all media. Another new series starts this month with Noel Gregory as he discusses a variety of aspects of painting, beginning with seasonal landscapes. There is also practical advice on using watercolour, acrylics, oils, coloured pencil, pastel and a lovely project to start you painting on silk. Enjoy the issue.
