Our hands are really round and smooth.
But I changed the hands of many curves into a more straight shape.
Because the straight shape is simpler than the curved shape.
But nevertheless, even simplified hands are made up of formidable rules.

Middle finger longest and pinky finger shortest. (The thumb is the exception.)
The starting line of the finger and the wrist are not parallel.
Wrist part thinner than the palm.

You know, I didn't explain the thumb.
I personally think the hardest part of the hand is the thumb.
Thumb is not as simple as a stick.
The simple shape of the thumb is triangle + stick. But it doesn't always come in that form.
So if you want to draw your thumb well, I recommend studying anatomy or observing your hands.

Most importantly, the hands are very different depending on the angle, so it's good to observe from various angles.
Your hand is the best reference.

If you want to draw a unique hand, not a real human hand...
There is also a way to draw fingers as flexible as sausages.
If you draw a cartoon character's hand, you may reduce the number of fingers. (Four Fingers, Zero Finger)
In some cases, you may omit nails.
If your drawing style is simple, you can simply draw palm wrinkles. (If you draw wrinkles awkwardly, the picture can be worse.)
If you draw a cartoon character, there is a way to draw the character's hand very large compared to the arm.
Changing the tip of finger to round or sharper is one way.
