It's been forever since I've made a faux dichroic glass dragon, but I've had these rainbow feathered wings sitting around and it was time to make a dragon to go with them. I decided to experiment with the faux dichro look, where instead of trapping the ink colors between layers of black and translucent clay, I painted the ink on top of a layer of black clay, leaving it exposed to the air. Most of it faded while baking, and I had to go back and color over it again afterward, so that's something to keep in mind for next time. I'm still on the hunt for a good green alcohol ink color. The one I used on this dragon (Ranger Mojito) faded like crazy no matter how many layers I applied.

Crafted from Premo polymer clay, alcohol ink, bugle beads, and handmade feathered wings. This dragon has been sold.
