Edit: please dont ask me for animation advice. I suck terribly at it in general and cannot provide adequate feedback. The only reason this looks halfway decent is because I spent 12+ hours on it over the span of three days. 

I got tired of messing with movement, so I settled for this.

It. Took. Too. Much. Time.

I'm happy enough with it, in the end, even though I know there were and are plenty of areas for improvement. It was certainly a learning curve for me.
