Warhammer 40K fanart interpretation of an Assault Marine of the Blood Ravens 4th Company wearing an Artificer power armour based from the Mark IV 'Maximus' power armour and equipped with a Sol-Harrier pattern Jump Pack as well as armed with Phobos Bolter and Power Fist. This is an updated/remastered version of my previous fanart interpretation of the Blood Ravens Assault Marine Sergeant of the 4th Company.

Description: Brother Sergeant Erastus of the Blood Ravens Chapter 4th Company. He was assigned as a Sergeant of the Assault Marines 7th squad during the Kronus Campaign, also known as the Dark Crusade, under the command of Captain Davian Thule. During the bloody conflict on Kronus, he and his assault squad took part in many battles such as the cleansing of the Orks of Warboss Gorgutz on the Green Coast, the liberation of Asharis from the Tau Empire, and the assault against the Word Bearers Traitor Legion in the Deimos Peninsula. Years later after the Kronus campaign, Brother Sergeant Erastus continued to serve the 4th Company and participated during the Aurelian Crusades against the Tyranids, Orks, Aeldari and the forces of Chaos of the Black Legion and Kyras' Chaos warband. After the Blood Ravens' victory over the Aurelian crusade, he survived and continued to serve the Chapter now under the guidance of the new Chapter Master Gabriel Angelos.

During the heat of battle, Brother Erastus was equipped with an artificer armour based on the relic Mark IV 'Maximus' Pattern Power Armour uncovered by the Blood Ravens expeditionary fleet on the Jungle world of Abrax in M39. The armour was built with components from the Mark III 'Iron' Pattern Power Armour for extra protection without losing any maneuverability. After taking part in battles, Sergeant Erastus' Power armour was heavily weathered with little damage but he keeps it as a sign of being a battle-hardened veteran of the Chapter. When engaging in combat, Sergeant Erastus is equipped with a relic late production model of the Sol-Harrier Pattern Jump Pack, a less advanced jump pack based on the old Serpha-V Pattern Jump Pack during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy designed for compatibility with the Mark IV power armour, to unexpectedly drop into the midst of his foes to launch a close-combat assault. In addition, Erastus is armed with a Power Fist to punch through enemy heavy tanks and walkers, frag and krak grenades to counter enemy infantry, a melta-bomb for destroying heavy fortifications, and a relic Phobos-Pattern Bolter for mid-range combat against enemy infantry. Also, he holsters a bolt pistol as a backup weapon in case his bolter runs out of ammo.

Notes: Green trims on the Sol-Harrier Pattern Jump Pack and right knee pad denotes its designation as part of the 4th Company.
