Hope this won't be too late for me to participate. So this is my artist avatar challenge artwork. There are several compositions in this illustration:

1. Me as a knight/hero in the middle with weird head is my alter-ego. The head specifically is my avatar and I used it as the symbol of the Honje itself (my profile picture). It's tribal lines because one of my roots in drawing was drawing traditional tribal graffiti and even when I became a digital character illustrator, I'd still apply tribal pattern to my artworks. The body of the knight symbolize me as an individual who is just as generic as anybody could be. I love fantasy, and my biggest influences are Tolkien lore, Final Fantasy franchise and SoulsBorne franchise. So armored, metal plate, cool heroines, edgy characters and monsters have always been my thing. Boring to some people, but I believe that we're free to love what we love.
2. The heroine, the weird dragon and the edgy looking knight on the back are my projections of what I have drawn so far since I learned drawing digital 2 years ago. Other than fanarts, these are the types of original characters that I have drawn. They become the enemies in this illustration, attacking my magic circle defense.
3. Saturated magic hand and magic circles are my interpretation of how meaningful my art as my defensive mechanism in this world, thus the contrast of the colors. I always use my art to help me protecting myself from my enemies, which can be depression, life problems, etc.
4. The grayish ambience symbolize my artstyle and how it solidifies the different contrast of color between my magic which represents my art than anything else in this illustration.
5. I made the knight/hero in that 'prepare to attack' stance to show that I'm still growing and learning to be better.

So in conclusion, this is an illustration of my alter ego Mauliate who summoned the magic hand to spell magic circles in order to protect himself from the enemies.

Maybe those compositions would not make any sense or too cringe or maybe I just want to draw characters I think I've fainted.
