Here is the list of engines that would appear in season 1 of my NEW THOMAS AND FRIENDS reboot series.
Which shows the original seven engines, Sandy and two last minute characters I've decided to add...

Thomas - LB&SCR E2 class
Thomas is a little blue tank engine who works on the North Western Railway. He formerly worked as the station pilot at Vicarstown/Knapford but dreamed to leave his yard to go out and see the world.

Edward - Furness Railway K2 class
Edward is a blue mixed-traffic tender engine. He runs the Brendam branch line. Edward is one of the oldest engines on Sodor and is occasionally made fun of for his age.

Henry - LNER Gresley Class A1 (Old Shape), LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 (New Shape)
In my series, Henry starts out as a Prototype Class A1. But a small firebox mistake in the design left him a failed engine. But when Sir Topham Hatt the First brought Gordon from the LNER, he felt sorry for Henry and decides to give him a chance. After the Flying Kipper accident, he was then rebuilt into a black 5 design at Crewe.

Gordon - LNER Gresley Class A3
Gordon is a big blue express engine who works on the Main Line. He is Flying Scotsman's only surviving brother. Gordon is also one of the fastest engines on the Island of Sodor and his main task is to pull the Wild Nor' Wester, the railway's express train.

James - L&YR Class 28
James is a mixed-traffic tender engine who works on the North Western Railway, usually working along the Main Line. He can be vain and sometimes boastful, but means well and is a hard worker.

Percy - GWR No. 1340 Trojan
Percy is a little green saddle tank engine who was brought to Sodor to help run the railway during Gordon, Henry and James' strike. He is one of the youngest engines on Sodor and he is also Thomas' best friend and is quite cheeky, often getting himself into trouble with his attempts to play tricks on the other engines.

Toby - LNER Class J70
Toby is a steam tram who works on Thomas' Branch Line with his coach Henrietta. Toby is wise and always willing to share his experience and knowledge with the other engines.

Sandy - SECR P class
In Mattel's reboot, Sandy was a small diesel box engine not based on any known locomotive. In my series, she's a red tank engine brought in to help while Percy's at the works for repairs.

Harvey - Shelton Iron & Steel Works No. 4101
In Matel's reboot, there's a crane engine which looks like Carly on railway wheels which I don't like. So in my series I've decided to bring in Harvey as the crane engine of the Crovan Gate's works.

Lara - LMS Coronation Class
Mattel's reboot features a purple diesel electric engine called Kana. But as my series takes place in 1954, I've decided to replace Kana with a new character I've called Lara the Duchess of Suddery. She was brought in to run a passenger service between Knapford and Sodor's capital city Suddery.
