Obis Quirk turns his tears into floating blob-like creatures he calls Drops, that come to his aid whenever he cries. The Drops live for a short time, and in that time will assist Obi in any way they can, whether it be in combat, traversing obstacles, or even just comforting him. Drops also have the ability to transform their composition from water into any liquid substance they come into contact to, such as blood, alcohol, acids, etc.


Pro:
- Drops lifespan can be extended while in moist environments or submerged in water. As long as they are continuously rehydrated, they can survive for extended periods.
- Drops on their own can move up to 25 mph. Drops stored in the Moisture Tank can help Obi with traversing obstacles by simply all pushing to one side of the container and either lift him up into the air or pushing towards him to boost his speed.
- Thanks to their ability to transform into other liquids, Drops have incredible versatility.


Con:
- Drops only usually live up to ten minutes without help with outside factors, they simply just pop. This can be shortened even further in high heat and dry environments.
- Low temperatures can slow down Drops significantly, freezing temperatures can even cause them to rupture and expire.
- Like most people, extended heavy crying can tire Obi out.


Background Story:

Obis family immigrated to Japan from East Africa when he was fairly young. His father had gotten a job as a corporate interpreter/translator for a local branch of Millicent Industries, and his mother took the opportunity to open Go, Go, Gowon Gym, which has found relative success and has been a big hit with locals since opening.
It took a bit of time for Obi to get used to his new home, but eventually he warmed up to the various changes, especially when he immersed himself in the local Pro Hero Culture. He fell in love with how heroes would give their all to protect others, not unlike the Drops he had grown up with and that were always there to protect him. He now devotes himself to his hero training, and with the help of his Drops and new found friends, he will one day harbor the tears of those who need help so that they wont need to cry anymore.


Gear:

Moisture Tank:
The container on his Obis back stores Drops, submerging them in water to maintain hydration. The tank is connected by two hoses, one that goes to a pair of goggles that lets Drops travel from his eyeducts, straight into the tank, and the other that feeds into his gun. The tank also has a hatch that is used to fill in water or lets drops flow freely out of the container.


Drop Gun:
This is a specially designed weapon made to propel Drops at speeds up to 95mph, allowing them to slam into enemies with greater force. It can fire in either semi or fully automatic. Also comes with a special dispensing system that allows Obi to inject liquids held in canisters into the gun before Drops are launched, allowing them to transform into that liquid.


Trivia:

- It has been observed that newer Drops seem to share unique behavior patterns and even memories with previously expired Drops, making the theory that somehow Drops continuously reincarnate in life cycles. This has lifted a huge load off Obis shoulders, who had before harbored heavy guilt over creating creatures just to have them be destroyed for his own needs. He has been even naming the more recognizable Drops after rivers from around the world such as Mississippi, Rhines, Volga, Danube, Yukon, etc.
