I made a remake of this sprite I made a while back of Knuckles in Sonic 2's style. I don't remember it looking that bad until I looked at it again recently. I relied too much on the original Sonic 3 sprite's shading and barely did anything to make it look more like Sonic's proportions, making the original sprite look really off.
