A chunky Plesiosaur for Not-dinovember. Another animal I'm unfamiliar with, but wanted to give it a go. Rather than replicate the common - lean - depictions of Liopleurodon, I fattened him up a bit with some blubber.
Marine reptiles, like Ichthyosaurs and Plesiosaurs, existed alongside dinosaurs and through many eras of pre-history. Much like pterosaurs, they are commonly lumped in with dinosaurs by the average layperson, but they are not closely related to them at all.
