Now that they're sure Zira's pride has moved on, the hyenas decide to celebrate by chasing fireflies one night. Banzai also gives further insight into hyena cultural values.

It might be hard to tell since they're on separate pages, but I drew the first panel of this page to look like the last panel on the previous page, like there would be another dissolve between the two if this was a movie. The four fireflies here would line up with Shenzi and Banzai's eyes peeking out of the giant skull, and the grass blades in the foreground here would more or less line up with the ribcages in the foreground on the last page.
