Absorbed in a book.

... So, a while ago I learned that wearing socks with sandals is considered, well, unstylish in many places (twitter.com/netsurikigaku2/sta…) - apparently also here in Finland. And one of my followers created a new tag - as well as found an already existing tag too - for promoting the combination of the not-so-liked socks with sandals. So in short, I started this drawing in order to draw something with socks and sandals in it.

The drawing kind of evolved into something where the socks with sandals are not the main focus. (I always do that, albeit not on purpose. I make a plan and then diverge from it.)

All in this work was drawn by me - save for the textures that I made from photos I had taken earlier. Also, the lines in the book are from my thesis. (Not that it would matter, as they are unreadable in this resolution. Which is a good thing because it is a thesis on microbiology/biochemistry, and Koko in the drawing is reading an animal book.)
