Take The Stairs

"I know a shortcut!" -Rad
I've always had a problem drawing stairs, either coming out crooked, out of proportions or with weird perspectives. So the perfect solution for it was practicing with a scene that predominantly featured stairs :V
This one was a recent very random idea, me and Lock were coming back home from our recent vacation in August and looking out of the train windows I've spotted various urban staircases while we stopped at different townstations. So I thought... I can definitely picture a couple of my most daredevilish characters going down while riding a bike. xD The concept has been put as an option for a poll on my Twitter as I was juggling with other two ideas and I wanted to check what the audience was more eager to see. As you can see, the cityscape came out first! Worry not though, I won't be discarding the other two ideas (quite infact, I'll tackle them in the next two illustrations).
Anyways, I liked the Twitter poll experiment and I think it's a good way to make followers "interact" with the gallery uploads, definitely going to use them again as soon as I get a new queue of ideas.
I was unsure wether some lens flare at the bottom would've been appropriate or a bit too much, but ultimately I realized I didn't want to cover the cameo characters too much. This time we have a fluffy Alpaca lady, a Mole and Aardvark college nerds (forgive me for giving into the temptation of using the "mole with glasses" cliche :V ) and a Black Boar dude, who's definitely not impressed by what's gonna happen. He may have already seen a similar scene last week. xD
Either way, I think the hardest part of this one was sketching out the whole bike because er... I have no idea how bike works ;____; I kinda feel like the back part is a bit wonky/too elongated considering the perspective used but any way I tried to place the "second seat" it always looked weird. In any case, that's done now. Especially proud of the pinkish building on the left and its balcony grid, aaaaaa!
