A blood moon beckoned the explorers of the Cult Mechanicus. On their long journey penetrating the frontier, they had never registered a celestial body of such a peculiar nature. Featureless, bathed only the outer wrath's red light, the world lay bare before them, a waste of common elements, arranged in the blurry outline of a world, but without any trace of a strong order, without even just a clear distinction between the surface and the skies.
For all instruments and ways of observation, the readings remained inconclusive, any values left as variables, and the verdict all the same: A world indeterminate, a moon without a face. The first place they found in the uncharted regions was a mockery of all astronomy, merely an undefined idea of what a world should be.
