The World - 1930 - German Century [21k/12k]

Colour Key

City Labelling Key
- Capital Cities are marked by large red icons.
- Major cities are marked by normal icons with black centres.
- Minor cities are marked by normal icons with white centres.
- Regional/Colonial capitals are marked by normal icons with red centres.
- Various internal states (E.G. Princely States) are marked by normal icons with centres of varying colours.

Border Key
- Borders are shown by de jure status not de facto. (E.G. Chinese Warlords or Internal Rebellions are not shown despite the fact they hold that territory.)
- Disputed borders are marked by de jure status with preferential treatment to Great Powers. (E.G. Disputed territory between Tibet and British India are marked as de jure part of the latter despite being de facto part of the former.)

- International borders are marked by dark lines and dark rivers.
- Boundaries between separate colonies of the same nation are also marked by dark lines and dark rivers.
- Provincial borders are marked by light lines and light rivers.
- Internal State borders are marked by light line and light rivers. (E.G. Princely States.)

Language Labelling Key

- Independent Nations/Independent Vassal States are labelled in English (Spelling is time period-tailored. E.G. Romania is spelled Rumania.)
- Colonies/Internal States are labelled in the language of their mother country.
- Cities are labelled in the language of their mother country. (Here, spelling is also time period-tailored.)

British Empire

- The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and his majesty's colonial holdings are coloured in the traditional Pink.
- British Protected States are coloured in darker pink. While states coloured as such were never officially part of the British Empire and retained near-total control over internal affairs, the British controlled their foreign policy.
- Princely States of British India are coloured in light pink. (Capital Cities are marked by normal icons with pink centres.)
- Dominions are allowed their own colours and visually function as independent states.

German Empire
- The German Empire and the Kaiser's colonial holdings are coloured in Dark Grey.
- Former British self-governing colonies, Selbstverwaltende Gebiet, of Mittelafrika are coloured in Grey.
- Autonomous Native Kingdoms of Mittelafrika are coloured in Light Grey. (Capital Cities are marked by normal icons with purple centres.)

Notes
- I'm not a linguist. If there is a grammar mistake in a word which is not written in English or Spanish I will not catch it.
- Certain internal states retain normal icons with red centres if there are not many of them in that nation. (E.G. Nepal's single Princely State has no special colour.)
