I was tested positive for covid two weeks ago. (And no worries, we're much better now) But because of the 2 week lockdown quarantine, I've been handed a lot of time to assess my day to day and drawing schedule while I recovered. I was already sensing that I was in a transitional period anyways and was leaning away from old ties and habits. My schedule and time feels unhinged and loose as I determine what's important for me to focus on. It's nothing new that I haven't experienced before but I can sense how acutely aware I am of its happening. We'll see where this direction takes me as I continue on and try new things and opening up different lines of communication with new friends that I'm on a similar wavelength with. (NaomiVanDoren :) My biggest takeaway so far has been to remove influences that aren't harmonizing with me well, whether it's unfollowing or muting other artists or even friends and honestly just staying off of Twitter completely. I was surprised at how many I was able to mute in one day and since then my stories and feed have been engaging and inspiring. c

So maybe take some time to refresh the content you're consuming everyday. For myself, this was something i didn't realize I needed but the last few weeks have been much calmer and quieter after doing so, which has been lovely to say the least! (c
