Should I have this tagged as a spoiler? I don't know, maybe, though Mario Odyssey is 3 years at this point, at this point it would be difficult to avoid this spoiler if you have any interest in playing Mario Odyssey. I've been meaning to draw this at some point anyway, this is easily one of the best moments in Mario Odyssey. Any time Bowser gets to be playable is amazing since it doesn't happen often in the games with a bit more plot like the RPGs or platformers, in fact this was the first time Bowser was playable in a platformer even if it is Mario controlling him.
This is based on a minor detail, if you triple jump captured Bowser with do Mario's standard jumping pose and let out a "Whoohoo!", as a little reminder that it's still Mario.

This piece has also really gotten me thinking about which colours I use. My previous pictures have done that to me too but this one especially. Now that I'm making digital art the colours I can use are limitless but it's a question of how accurate I want the colours. Sometimes I use different sources of the Mario series to choose the colours and they may not be 100% accurate to the standard versions but they're the ones that probably fit my art style the most. I didn't even know Bowser had beige horns and spikes but I still prefer colouring him with white ones. I may make a palette of which characters I choose for which characters and post it for my own references. I also debated on trying eye colour for the first time since it's a lot easier with digital art but I don't like it for my own art, I prefer them without. Bowser's pupils being bigger still gets the point across in this particular picture.

Im not sure at this point how frequent art is going to be. I do have at least one more picture to work on but Im otherwise going with the flow. As I said in the past, I dont want to be burned out by the time I go back to university but I still want to do at least some personal art.
