Happy to share that I was approached by Fireforge Games to create box cover art for their upcoming miniature release (Western European Knights) on Christmas.
This was a challenging piece, due to the amount of characters that needed to be readable, rendered, as well as contribute to the dynamicism of the painting.
I would love to know what you think about this one,

The Small-Banded Kukri Snake is a nonvenomous, medium sized Kukri Snake which is recorded from the northern and north-eastern regions of Thailand.
With its droll face, O. fasciolatus may seem like an unimpressive snake; the way it hunts and kills its prey, though, is unique...and the stuff of nightmares.
In three different cases, a Small-Banded Kukri Snake was observed to disembowel an Asian Common Toad (Duttaphrynus melanostictus) alive; the snake would cut open the toad with its teeth, dig its head into the prey's abdomen, pull out and swallow the organs of the still living amphibian. Researchers suggested this to be a terrifying technique of avoiding the toad's poisonous skin secretions during an attack (although some snakes would still also just swallow a small toad whole). Another suggestion would be that a grown toad is too big to be swallowed whole, hence the gruesome disemboweling.
In 2004, a pure albino of this species was found in the Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo; this unique individual (which sadly died in 2005) was reported to be surprisingly docile, allowing itself to be handled without any aggression or biting and is reported as the first albino ever that was discovered within the Oligodon complex.
