I got to keep my image While suspended from a throne That looks out upon a kingdom Full of people all unknown Who imagine I'm not human And my heart is made of stone I never had no problems And my toilet's trimmed with chrome...Lyrics: Steve Winwood
Did this one about 2 weeks ago This is a start of a full lion king leg sleeve - will be adding other characters from the movie next time ( and il try to take a bit less bloody pic of it )

Traditional drawing of Sif. I really like how the metall parts of her armor turned out. My scanner killed the background completely, so just take a look at everything else except the background! For a better "scan-able" + smooth result (for example for blurred backgrounds) I really think about buying pastel pencils or an "airbrush system" for my Copics...
Reference was a production still of Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) from the movie Thor The Dark World (2013).

This past month I had the opportunity to work with the endlessly talented SFX artist Vincent who has been piecing together this project for 6 months. I have been wanting to move away from photoshopping my compositions to actually creating everything in camera so this was the perfect collaboration. I'll be sharing a behind the scenes video of this shoot shortly so stay tuned!
