I've been working for the past couple months on creating cards for this game that's in development, created by Frostbolt, an indie game company. I'll be releasing the cards bit by bit to help these guys out in reaching their goal! I'm not directly involved in the Kickstarter (I'm not being paid to advertise) however I'd love to keep working for this project as I think it looks like a really fun game! Go check it out!

I wanted to do some free painting yesterday. So I decided to paint over a past charcoal work with digital paint. Here's the original sketch- Had a blast!
Check out my P A T R E O N for a first look at the art I'm making, as well as pictures I won't be posting anywhere else.
Shadowy ribbons of sequin mesh wrap around her body and flurry from her sholders. Dark organza flowers are strewn throughout her gown. I'm excited to be organizing an upcoming photoshoot with Saffels Photography and Luna Lovely Cosplay More on that soon!
Had the pleasure of recently working on the 'Liberty' comic book and podcast series from John Dossinger Publishing. This was a promotional banner I did for the launch of their new installment, Deception. You can find out more info on their site: www.thelibertycomic.com/
Big thanks to Travis Vengroff and his team for the opportunity. And special thanks to for his help and insight
This started as a 3D block out in Modo and then finished in photoshop.
Did this sketch a while ago, trying harder to work smaller.

My coloring book with Blue Star Coloring Books will have varying levels of difficulty, all the way from easy to difficult. Here is a sample of one of the simple pages. I am super excited about this project!
Here's what I was hinting at in my last submission - she's not just a bone dragon, she's a Day of the Dead bone dragon! I have always loved the themes and motifs associated with the Mexican Dнa de Muertos and have been wanting to make something themed around it for a couple of years now. I was originally planning to make a sugar skull dragon, but I ended up going with flowers instead. I've taken to calling this dragon Camellia, and she has a felt rose tucked under one horn, while another sprouts from the end of her tail. I also hand cut a couple dozen flowers out of felt and stitched them down the length of her body and across her wings (the flower centers are gold seed beads). Bright and colorful, just the way I like it! xD
Here are some extra angles:
Camellia is approximately 7 inches long and 4 inches tall. Created via needle felting from wool roving, with a pipe-cleaner armature. I think this entire project took somewhere around 9-10 hours. So much fun, and so very time consuming!
I have put Camellia up for sale in my Etsy shop. No idea if anyone will want her at that price, but that's okay, I am happy to continue enjoying her presence.

This isn't strictly based on a scene from the movie or book. We just imagined Sophie calming Howl down after one of his tantrums, and Howl doing some roundabout apology for being an insufferable twit. <3 Hahah!
One of these days, I think I would like to do a shoot of Howl with a cold, based on the book. I was practically /howl/ing with laughter over his antics in that chapter. Help me, someone! Im dying from neglect up here! Howl, please.

I wasn't sure how I'd get this idea into a finished drawing, but I think it turned out okay ^^ It's fun to write all over your sketch like lined paper xD;
I usually do a few of these type drawings each week between projects- this was the best of the bunch this week. Hopefully one of my good friends will be inking it. 11x17" pencil on smooth bristol- For a large version of this please support my page at : www.patreon.com/paulabrams
Another playing around with layer/image duplication. This time I drew some fun legs on him and threw on a background... figured 'snow' was a safe bet, hoping for some cooler weather here anyway (not that we get snow, which I'd love, but it's been damn hot for Oct/Nov).
Swords... shoulder-mounted cannons... heavy armor... sound-dampening outer skin... fun
