And that's another challenge finished. e I cheated a bit on the last day and mostly used watercolours, rather than just ink. I wanted to make something colourful for Halloween. c: Thank you for keeping up with me! There are some originals I wish to sell, not just from Inktober. I've tried setting up a store on Storenvy, but I'm having some trouble connecting it to PayPal, so instead I'll probably make a journal about it somewhere next week. There'll also be a small update regarding commissions.

Most referred to Aiden Korovin as 'the mad scientist'. His genius mind was respected far beyond the borders of the Darkaian community he came from, but everybody knew his ideas were in controversial and he never valued human life that much. The guy would even sell his friends and family to science, was what was said about him, and this statement unfortunately proved to be surprisingly true.
Only a few wondered what made a person like him the way he was. Aiden was never born in a loving home within the protection of his parents. Both of his parents were scientists that worked in the labs of the Ground Zero organisation and spend most of their time working. Aiden, as a child, was more or less raised in those labs and ought to take care of himself while his parents were at work. He saw his father occasionally, and his mother even less, and spend most of his time around books and high-tech machinery. But the labs were a dangerous place and not suited for children at all. Accidents happened, so did the one in which Aiden eventually lost his arm. As cruel as it was, it was that one event that lead him to reflect on his status and the status of humanity in general. If humans were that easy to damage, were they actually worthy of life? Wasn't it better to opt for a lifeform that wasn't that weak, or perhaps wasn't even human?
And with this, the the #inktober challenge has gotten to an end for me. I've produced 12 drawings, and considering my health, that isn't too badly for me. I can't say I've gotten completely comfortable with ink as a medium yet, but I've become a lot more comfortable with things like hatching and line height. Perhaps I can even do better line-art now
Same as the others, this drawing is also part of the Emion series. More about the character here;
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before." (Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven)
This is drawing for all my friends and watchers and all people who ever support me! I wish toy all to have spooky Halloween weekends And yes it is heavily inspired by Ray Bradbury book Halloween Tree.
into a character for my story. He's one of my 5 Shapeshifters and works for an organization that harvests power from an ancient dragon claw. Pretty generic shit, I know. Started this pic sometime during my semester break and finished it during the US trip.
Patreon reward for Almonihah, my highest pledging patron! Thank you so much for your support, this watercolor was super fun to make. Autumn leaves for a giant gryphon! When they're this small on such a small painting, it looks like rose petals a bit, but he's just a HUGE gryphon in some autumn maple leaves!
(Music: Inkubus Sukkubus Samhain) Happy Halloween, guys! I wish you'll have a wonderful time Pigmented ink fineliner, watercolor and a bit of Photoshop Follow me on facebook and instagram
A solar eclipse was often considered to be a harbinger of doom, and after several false alarms it seems that one day the sun disappeared and never came back, as star-hungry "Pillars of Destruction" with red eyes and black hearts had claimed their next target
Anyway, it's Halloween time again, hence the spooky themed art. I'll admit I did have something entirely different planned but I ran out of time and so that one can wait 'till next year. But I realized I haven't done a space-themed artwork for the holiday yet, even though Christmas now has received two. Coming up with ideas was hard, from pumpkin-shaped planets to... well, that actually was the only other idea I had Then I remembered how often I've had nightmares over the course of my life, especially while younger that involves eerie ghostly, shadowy forms, vaguely resembling sickly human figures with no discernible facial features or even proper "heads" - sometimes eyes were represented by dim red lights and nothing more. I've always found such forms to be more intimidating than typical "TV/movie ghosts/demons" which are still too human-like to me. My idea of a nightmare-inducing supernatural presence has always been somewhat more organic and alien-like in form, and the eerie formations of the famous "pillars of creation" photo seemed to translate into this form very easily in my mind " title="Idea" />
