Dino: Tenonto Game: The Isle Character design dose not belong to either of us but to 'The Isle'
I can't tell you how much it filled me with joy to have been given this assignment. I never actually played D&D, but I marveled at the D&D dragon art since I stumbled upon them as a girl and they gave me so much inspiration. And now I actually got to paint one! Officially! For Magic: the Gathering rather than D&D but all the same!
Many thanks to Zack Stella, my art director for this piece.
I invite you to a cozy room of curiosities. A panel from my next graphic novel Myre Vol 2. Needless to say, I had a ton of fun with it! Myre Vol 2 is going smoothly and well. Since this volume is very demanding, you barely see me around these days. But every now and then, I manage to find a speck of time to spare and utilise to be around and share what I've been working on!
Such is with tomorrow, when I have a livestream session with Adobe Live UK! Join us live and ask questions when I go over a selected number of panels/pages of Myre Vol 2. When? -> 28th of June (Monday) 12:40 (MEST)
For the replay, follow: www.behance.net/live/videos/12… In case you can't make it to the livestream. I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
The full page of this panel and other pages can be read and seen at my Patreon! I post a very limited number of pages there, years before they're published in print.~> www.patreon.com/AlectorFencer
Thank you so much for your support. <3 Myre Vol 1 and Haunter of Dreams are available at: yriachronicles.com/shop
Since it was requested by several people, here a GIF of tiny dancing Applejack from the credits of our newest YouTube-video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xpfM9…
Can I use one of Cryptid Creations' paintings/ idea for a project? (personal, commercial, D&D, fakemons, OCs, adoptables&)
A much as we hate being sticklers, we at Cryptid Creations have to say no in most cases. The looser we are about our intellectual property, the more likely it is to be abused, even if you have good intent. With that being said, we are open to talks concerning licensing. Feel free to reach out to our contact department atpiper@cryptidcreations.com
Can I make a 3D model of this artwork?
We're sorry to say that as of March 2021, Cryptid Creations has altered it's policy and no longer permits 3D recreations of it's IP. We are flattered to receive these requests by 3D modelers, but as we are moving into creating 3D models ourselves, we cannot afford the conflict of interest.
What tools were used to create artwork?
Our studio uses Adobe Photoshop CC and and a Cintiq 22HD
Drawing water will be forever one of my favorite themes! But that was the last part of the drawing~ I was very hyped until I finished the lineart... Then I decided to do a different lighting and I got stuck. And soon enough I saw myself burned out orz
I took longer to finish it because of that, but everything worked out in the end!
So yeah, if you see yourself on a tight spot, take some breather.
Relax, and then go back, get it sorted out, you can do it!
