This is fairly basic but I tend to start my tutorials at the beginning for people who are just starting out. Naturally there are a lot of factors that affect fur pattern, and these are only a few.
Edit: Ooops I see I made a spelling error or two! Oh well; they aren't too bad. I'll just leave them
Nightmare Balloon Boy! this is only what I imagine him to look like.. (If I'm hopelessly wrong I'll edit it later lol) but I think this outcome makes logical sense endless damn teeth in a huge grin! EDIT: I changed the file to a different one, I think this one jhas more natural colors thanks to a brighter background But I dont want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you cant help that," said the Cat: "were all mad here. Im mad. Youre mad." "How do you know Im mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldnt have come here.
After some encouraging, I decided to give it a shot and to use this as an entry for Rewritten-Artbook (in case it was selected I will have it properly scanned )
In any other way, I wanted to draw Alice-themed pic because it's so crazy and it matches the pre-Halloween fun : D Alice fell into the rabbit's hole and madness begins : D plus bishie Mad Hatter is alaways fun to draw XD Media: watercolors, Copic markers, white gelpen, ink, multiliners
Will add better photos once better photos exist. Screw you, lighting D:
Who wouldn't want to have an amiibo of their own character? Or some figurine to begin with? Well, honestly it has always been some sort of dream of mine, had to make it reality at some point.
So why not try to remodel one Inkling Girl amiibo, after all Melon doesn't look to different, no?
I had a blast doing this one, seriously. I've never been good at making figurines myself, but remodelling/making a custom amiibo sounded definitely more reasonable to me. I bought some acrylic paint earlier, and the Inkling Girl amiibo started popping up at the stores again - so I finally put the plan into action (after buying some clay, pink acrylic paint and transparent glossy paint )
First off: making a custom amiibo can be quite frustrating at times. There were a lot of areas I had a hard time repainting, for examples the T-Shirt and the small details on the shoes, either because they're hard to reach or because they're simply too small. I was also scared of taking the amiibo apart for repainting, so yeah... good luck not painting unwanted areas and keeping such damage on a minimal level :'D I tried my best and still spilled paint on the skin at some parts, though it's not too easy to spot - luckily.
But altogether it has been a fun experience, and I'm so happy to have finished this one decently (in my opinion). Of course I had to change some things about Melon's design to make things work out. For instance I didn't change the T-Shirt into a tank top, and it doesn't have the Melon Print on it either. No stripes on the hat, and also no longer back "hair" - and I didn't change her weapon into a charger, nor did I change the weapon's ink color as I didn't want to break open the transparent ink tank for recoloring purpose. I also changes her tentacle pattern to make it look more like the official ones. Let's call this one "Nintendo-styled Melon"

Another tricky skill to master in writing is setting description. Setting description is often the first thing that a reader encounters in a story, making it an essential skill to perfect if you want to hook your readers. To make matters more complicated, it is often difficult to calculate the right amount of description in settingstoo much or too little can either leave the reader bored, overwhelmed, or confused. Today, I'm going to talk about how to create engaging and appropriate scene descriptions that will best serve your story.
