Description

Wow, it has been nearly 7 years since my last reference of Shin! I figured that since I am finished with all of my owed art, that my first personal piece should be a new ref of my namesake character. I've been working on this one for quite a while - putting careful consideration into Shinerai's design. I have been so pleased with his design since I made my last ref that there were only a few things I wanted to change.

I've scrutinized this and invested lots of time into making it look fresh and nice. I hope all of you enjoy this new ref and continue to enjoy Shinerai as a character.

This is my third and favourite Halloween bake of the year! In my country (England) Halloween isn't really a big thing, every year it is getting more popular but still a lot of people wonder why I love Halloween so much. Well, Halloween is my wedding anniversary and my late Grandmas birthday so it has always been a very special time for me.
Last year was the first Halloween without my Grandma so it was too difficult for me to celebrate at all. This Halloween however, I am making up for last year and am honoring her as much as possible, she embraced her birthday for 83 years so I intend on carrying on her little tradition by getting out her Halloween decorations she used to use in her house and have put them up in my house.
Also this year the kids and I have been watching Halloween movies and I have baking as many different Halloween themed treats as possible. It's been so funny hearing my kids tell me of their friends and teachers reactions to the spooky bakes they have been taking to school this month!

Each wing was carefully hand cut from high quality black sticker paper and carefully glued onto the colorful thick foil making the color part transparent and shiny.

Hey look, it's Saturday! You know what that means, right?

This page was a really interesting challenge for me. I wanted to give the impression of a gloomy, hazy dawn, hence the grey, desaturated tones. Also, drawing fog traditionally is really tricky! I hope you like the final effect

So, Africa keeps her word and meets Chui and Bibi the following morning. But will they keep their own?

Moreover, I apologize in advance that the next Africa page is coming Sunday instead of Saturday. Why? Because Saturday 31st is the day I finally go back to Italy after my stay in Nottingham for four months " title="Heart" /> That's right, the time is finally up for me to stay here. It was a good experience, in equal parts absolutely pleasant and incredibly frustrating, but all things considered, something I would repeat. Which is awesome^^
I will most probably spend November trying to settle back to my usual life and restarting University lessons, not to mention, I will have to rearrange my room (which my Mom had repainted while I was away, so everything was removed from it). This means I won't be able to revert to our old page schedule just yet, but no worries! As promised, starting from December, you will once again have four pages of Chakra and two of Africa every month! Isn't that exciting?

And there are also other news I would like to announce, but those deserve their own space So, secret for now!
