Flowing gently through this small crevice in the forest. Their form intertwine with one another, interacting, speaking and rejoicing. Like friends preparing themselves for the greatest night out. The stream goes by gently, i tried dipping my hand into the water and heard someone encouraging me to give it a drink and so i did... it taste like a very strong alcoholic drink. A spirit essentialy.. har har very funny. Though i would sit near the patch of grass and watch the mass them flow to what i can assume a massive gathering somewhere in another reality. It honestly sounds like fun... though i can't help but experiencing the feeling of being left behind."

I hope you enjoy the painting along with the story that goes with it.
For this one, i think my first contribution to spooky month, i plan to make something i think uuh scary? well not overtly terrifying but maybe something eerie like my previous painting. How would you guys feel about that? I want to also want to improve when it comes to manmade architecture. For this painting though i am inspired by folklore tales of a stream of abstract form of spirits flowing like a glowing river. I think the idea of finding otherworldly things comforting is a pretty fascinating idea for me. Hopefully you enjoy this piece as much as i enjoy making them.

Two years.

Two years and nearly 200 pages later.

Some days are better than others--sometimes it's difficult to force myself up and at the computer to dig into my creative spring and hammer in comic work. Other days it's like the creative energy just flows out of me and there's no stopping it.

I love my crazy kids, both born directly from me and that I've adopted in. Never before in my life have I pursued a creative endeavor this long and this consistently. Before Lost Souls, if I got stuck on something, then the creative spring peters out and I move on to the next project. And so on. But Lost Souls has stayed ever-present in my project list. Whenever I get stuck, sure I'd move on to another foundling project for a little bit, but eventually Lost Souls calls me back and I can continue working like I never left.

And then there's you guys; the audience.

My intentions with this comic are not to gain a following. I uploaded this comic because in the very beginning stages of working on it I realized that I had something that could last a while, and it felt like such a waste to not share it with more than just myself. You guys have accepted me and Lost Souls with open arms, and it's already become something that I wasn't expecting so soon.

So as much as this little piece is to celebrate my own personal achievements, it's also a little thank-you gift to you:

I recently discovered that Amy Rose once wore this optional Gothic Dress outfit, in the "Sonic Runners" video game. And, honestly? I personally find it REALLY cute and cool looking on her! So much so, that I felt I just HAD to draw her in it. " title="Love" /> And, for extra added cuteness, I've even included the classic style Amy rose in the exact same Gothic outfit, as a special little bonus. Y'know, because why not. And yes, I figured "why not make their mallets a matching colour scheme as well?" Again, just because.
