Length: 161 meters
Mass: 55,000 metric tons
History: While Earths governments scrambled to learn more about monsters in the wake of Godzilla and Kongs battle in Tokyo, the citizenry of these sovereign nations became similarly fascinated by the massive creatures. Some civilians had greater success than others in handling monsters, and none were more prominent than the Red Bamboo criminal organization. There were, however, notable isolated incidents where humans and monsters formed personal bonds without the need of fear, coercion, or force. Varan is one example.
Varan was discovered as a juvenile by the manager of the Tsuburaya Six Ring Circus, who prided himself on the kind and ethical treatment of animals under his care. The juvenile Varan was about the size of a blue whale when the circus manager first found him in 1958. The circus traveled all throughout Asia, capturing the imagination of adults and children alike. Varan would serve a secondary role as pest control, gobbling up smaller insectoid monsters like Gimantis nymphs and Meganulon that threatened humans. Local governments were keenly interested in acquiring this monster, but Varans size and fiercely protective nature over the circus manager made this prohibitively difficult. As Varan attained his full adult size, and his harmless nature became well known, clandestine efforts to capture this monster ended entirely.
With this full size came full size problems. The circus manager was no longer able to afford to maintain his act and provide for the support of his other animals. In 1960, the Devonian attack on New York Citys United Nation Headquarters revealed the existence of G-Force and Monster Island to the world. The following years saw several high-profile monster attacks thwarted by Godzilla and the offending monster relocated to Monster Island. With this new information in mind, the circus manager hatched a plan to stage an attack on a nearby city with the hopes that G-Force would arrive to stop the rampaging monster and take him to a new home on Monster Island where all his needs would be met.
But another monster had beaten him to the punch. A swarm of tiny, previously undiscovered monsters descended on HЎ Long, Vietnam the circuss latest destination from the mountains to the North. Not wanting to risk his beloved pet, the circus manager instead tasked Varan with evacuating civilians to the nearby Tuan Chau Island while the military engaged the new threat. The combined efforts of Varan and the Vietnamese military was enough to hold off the new monsters until Godzilla and Rodan arrived. The dynamic duo held the upper hand against the swarm which would later be named Shinomura at first, but they were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer number of tiny stinging monsters which paralyzed them and began draining their radioactive blood like mosquitoes.
Defying his handlers orders, Varan leapt into the fray. He devoured scores of Shinomura with each pass he made through the swarm until their numbers were nearly depleted. With the temporary paralysis worn off, Godzilla and Rodan returned to the fight to obliterate the remaining swarm. Commander Gordon is rarely impressed by monsters, but Varans heroics saved countless lives that day. Varan found a new home on Monster Island, and a position with G-Force as a first responder for search and rescue missions. The circus manager was offered a position as a caretaker on Monster Island, but politely declined. He wanted to keep his circus alive, both to entertain the masses and to promote humane and ethical treatment of animals around the world. The Tsuburaya Six Ring Circus would be supported by G-Force as one of their many humanitarian outreach objectives in the following years. From time to time, Varan would slip away from Monster Island to pay his dear old friend a visit.
Personality: Varan is not much of a fighter. He possesses certain attributes which make him well suited to the activity, but whenever possible, these attributes are used defensively. However, this does not mean Varan is a coward. He is quick to jump to the defense of humans when monsters attack, whisking them away to safety on his back as he glides through the skies safely out of reach of most enemies. Varans personality lies somewhere between his two closest friends on Monster Island Anguirus and Baragon. He is playful and curious about his environment like Baragon, but not to the extent that he becomes annoying to other monsters. He also appreciates a good nap, he but doesnt spend quite as much time sleeping as Anguirus does. Few monsters besides Godzilla have earned Rodans respect, and Varan numbers among that lucky few. This makes Varan one of the few monsters capable of flight (or falling with style) that he hasnt killed or driven off of Monster Island. Varan can be found wandering the dense forests of the island, snaking his way through the jagged rock faces of the base of its volcanic mountain, or gliding swiftly over the plains to snatch Gimantis or Meganeura out of the air.
Powers/Abilities
Power Glide: The membranes between Varans fore and hind limbs are extremely strong. When Varan leaps into the air, he can glide for incredible distances by pulling these skin flaps taught. He can maneuver with a small degree of flexibility, but this does not allow him to fly in the conventional sense. Varan can glide by jumping off the ground with his powerful hind legs, or by leaping from a suitably high perch. By feeding excess radioactive energy into these membranes, Varan can extend the duration of his glides.
Stamina: In his debut battle against the Shinomura, Varan was recorded making twenty-five trips from the Vietnamese mainland to Tuan Chau Island. He still had enough energy left to engage the enemy monster without any signs of tiring. Varans relatively small size and young age, compared to other monsters, is believed to grant him reserves of stamina that older, larger monsters simply cannot match. While G-Force is left to speculate about most monsters abilities, they were able to put Varans stamina to the test. The United States graciously donated a decommissioned aircraft carrier to park in the middle of the Pacific Ocean along the equator. Departing from Kampala, Uganda, Varan crossed the entire globe at the equator in twenty-two hours. Varan only touched down to kick off of the Earth and in one instance, off of the flight deck of the Pacific aircraft carrier to gain enough momentum to resume his gliding speed. A celebration was held in his honor upon his return to Kampala, where the Ugandan government had prepared a feast of coveted Ganimes crabs for the gliding monster that now held the world record for the fastest lap around the world. The fact that Rodan didnt immediately set out to one-up Varan speaks volumes to G-Force about the respect Rodan holds for his comparatively slower friend.
Natural Antivenom: After the Shinomura incident, G-Force virologists ran blood tests on their newest addition to the Monster Island roster. Varans blood has many qualities of synthesized antivenom agents, making him all but immune to even the strongest venoms the monster kingdom has to offer. His thick hide helps keep some monsters from injecting their venom directly into his bloodstream in the first place, but tests reveal even the highly potent venom of a Spiga which nearly killed King Kong back in the day would have little to no effect on Varan. Being one of the more cooperative monsters, G-Force has had little trouble drawing blood samples to create their own antivenom. Varan Serum has become a household name in communities around the world as an antidote from every kind of venomous bite imaginable, from bee stings to snake bites and more, and sees wide use in G-Trooper squads who engage man-sized venomous monsters around the world.
Varans presence on Monster Island would eventually draw more of his species to the surface. G-Force biologists are always excited to see solitary monsters reunite with their own species. One type of monster has always been observed in groups and has had the misfortune of being mistaken by Godzilla for about as long as they have existed.

Hi everyone!!
Here is the next pic and it's for our favorite teacher: Miss Cheerilee ^^
As I said earlier, I watched an MLP episode where Rarity, RD, and AJ run in a race with their little sisters, and there Miss Cheerilee was wearing a cheerleader outfit. I tried to draw her as similar as possible but in her human version ... I hope I have managed to capture the original idea of the series, but in human Cheerilee xD. Obviously, I also hope you like this drawing
