Weve wanted to do an ungulate-type critter for a while now, unfortunately things kept coming up, and we had to do some experimenting with new joints that would give the appropriate range of movement in the knees, hocks and fetlocks. The good news is, weve got these guys to show for it (the bad news; were so very, profoundly tired).
Gruffs stand approx. 83 at the shoulder, and are about 13.53 from nose to tail. Theyve got full articulation down to their bitty cloven hooves, with a realistic range of movement without the fragility of wire. Their heads and hooves are cast resin from our original sculpts, hand painted and sewn using faux furs and heavy duty felts.
Each of these gruffs is sewn in a slightly different variation. The chocolate ripple has no leg feathering, and a fur belly, but a heavier mane that covers his shoulders. The nanday variation (green, turquoise & black) has extremely long leg feathering, and a scaled belly, and the sandy spot has medium leg feathering to go with his scaled belly. These are the first of the gruffs weve put online; were hoping people like em as much as we do (I need an excuse to make a tiny saddle and bridle for one!).
Welcome to Snakehole guys! I present to you the first monster of our Halloween Adventure; Jacquelyn! I figured I would kick things of hard with a PoV of one of Jacquelyn's unlucky victims.
Jacquelyn is an extremely playful predator; she often toys with her victims, and her favorite means of killing them is via devourment, whether they go down whole, or in pieces. Jacquelyn is the top predator of the swamp, and the most recognizable, thanks to her glowing facial features. You know you're doomed when you smell fresh pumpkin guts out of nowhere.
Trivia: Jacquelyn's insides are extremely warm, roughly around 120 degrees. Most of her victims die of heat exhaustion; not a very fun fate...
In loving memory of Lynda, aka Barbara's oldest child, who tragically passed away.
It is so heartbroken! To lose a child is the worst thing which can happen to a parent and it has happened to my sweet friend, Barbara!
Barbara, my prayers, my heart, my thoughts are with you. I wish I could hug you tight - no words can lessen your sorrow, I know!
My most sincere condolences to you and to your family, dear Barbara!
Tomorrow at Dawn
Tomorrow, at dawn, the moment the countryside is washed with daylight, I will leave. You see, I know that you wait for me. I will go through forest, I will go across the mountains. I cannot rest far from you for long.
I will trudge on, my eyes fixed on my thoughts, Without seeing what is outside of myself, without hearing a single sound, Alone, unknown, back bent, hands crossed, Sad, and the day for me will be like the night.
I will not look upon the golden sunset as night falls, Nor the sailboats from afar that descend on Harfleur, And when I arrive, I will place on your grave A bouquet of holly and heather in bloom.

Last week I picked up some Spider-Man comic books, and forgotten how colorful and bright comics were, lots of glows and black ink shapes - so here's to that.
For short, this grem can be described as plain humble. He follows orders without questioning them, even if his crippled rich owner can be a bit ruthless at times. But it's the purpose of his existence, right? To serve humans. Quimby loves attention though and will get you anything you need just for a couple pats or for words "good job". Quimby gets a bit melancholic at times, when he dwells in the past memories - all the things he had to do in order to keep his owner happy .... or at least less grumpy. He can do anything from cleaning to cooking and fixing stuff around the mansion, keeping it from falling apart. Quimby also loves to have guests. He's one tall grem though, but don't let it scare you - this grem takes good care of visitors and provides you anything you might need ... even sometimes with things you don't need, if his owner isn't pleased with your presence.
Always smiling, always mouth shut and always eyes closed from the things that are meant to be kept as a secret. (dunno if it's obvious from the image but he doesn't have a whole tongue)
Grem2's are closed species from MrGremble (Quimby is a MYO Grem2)
A little birthday gift for Starry-Shizen !! She's one of the few artists I recognize from years ago, I'm talking about GaiaOnline time LOL and while I can't say I know her personally I've watched how much she has improved and grown as an artist and person and I'm really proud of her!
PS. In case I delete this later, you should know that I usually post my traditional art on Instagram!
