Oh man so happy to finally have this guy done! He's actually been completed for like a week, but I really wanted to be triple sure the ink was completely dry before moving him around.

Loque'nahak measures about 23" long not including the tail and is all machine sewn except for the claws. The spots were done with ink and his face is machine embroidered.

I didn't have time to paint anything New-Year-themed, so instead I'll show you the cover I painted for the book "Valkyrie" by Kate O'Hearn, published by Aladdin Books, Simon & Schuster. It will be available starting February 2, 2016!

Freya is dreading her upcoming birthday when shell officially have to take up her duties as a Valkyrie. She doesnt want to follow in the footsteps of the legends before herlegends including her mother and sisters. And she certainly doesnt want anything to do with humans!

Well guys, it's almost time. I hope you had an AWESOME 2015. If not, I also hope you learned from your mistakes and try to do things with a little more thinking and care in 2016. Best of luck to all of you dear followers, I can't even describe how grateful I am for all your support. Even a nice word every now and then can make my day.

Probably many of you know about my personal project, the 'Winoxish'. It's a fantasy world I'm working on for over 15 years, I started around the end of elementary school. I never knew what to do with it, games, comics maybe? I didn't want to do anything BIG, because I didn't think I can give it justice. I should have started anyway.

You helped me get better, progress, evolve, finding the path to be an artist I want to be. I decided that I will spend more time with my dream project. I have many stories in this world, and I want to tell these stories. I can only hope you will like it and I prove to be someone who's worth helping.

The first project is on the way, you will see signs of it very soon. That doesn't mean I won't draw fan content as before, I just put more thought in the content. I'm not going anywhere, and I'll continue what I started I just feel like I have to do this, I was delaying this for many-many years, and even if I'm only 29 y/o I won't get younger. I want to create something new, something ME. I can only hope you will come with me to this journey.

Thank you again for all the help, support and kindness you have given to me, it made me get where I am today. Have an awesome 2016, and see you next year! <3

Smoking is probably the least of Yami's bad habits but oh well.

I made her a new dress a few days ago and it just fits the occasion really well. Kind of like a New Year's party dress, although I don't think she celebrates. Years just slip by in a blink of an eye for her. She might wake up to a celebration once in every decade... or a century.

I hope to take more interesting photos of her soon, but I just feel really lousy today and I'm also kind of half-blind because my eye's been watering since morning. Not good for photography. For now, this is all there is +a few more simple ones I'm posting to my blog later.

A red-tailed hawk spreads it's wings as it perches on a branch in the forest.

Recently, I started a new job where I work from home. Now that I'm no longer in an office building, I can open the windows while I work. Since it has been an unusually warm December, I hear lots of birds outside. Among them is a red-tailed hawk that lives in one of the trees in my yard. After listening to him all day for a week, I decided it was time to do a portrait.

finally, some new art! things have been so busy! ive been working hard on the upcoming artbook, creating exclusive art (it contains 7 new digital paintings, a bunch of rough work and 20 pages of tutorial material created just for the book!). next to that i had some client work to do, so its been a while since ive been able to create new artwork that i could share online, hence my long absence! but now ive got some stuff lined up at last heres a drawing i worked on a few days back, just to relax and get back into the groove of doing some digital paintings.

About "how Mac can sit on such cold" has easy answer: he is Heaven Titan (that why on some points shows black "skeleton") and he can't feel cold temperatures.
