Today I'm taking you back for a short trip to the Sailor Moon's universe There is one thing about this manga that tends to be overlooked - it portrays strong females that are able to take care of themselves no matter what. Usagi doesn't start as a person like that but she does develop in that direction. Ultimately, she has to be the one to save Tuxedo, an unusual "damsel in distress". I wanted to portray her like this here - strong. No matter how hard the battle might have been, no matter how damaged she would end up, she would get back on her feet and keep fighing. Even if what she cared for was taken away, she eventually worked the way to get it back
