[Inktober] A mad scientist

Aiden's age was hard to guess. Despite not having any special powers that could keep his body young, as it did with a lot of energy users, he was frequently estimated years younger than he actually was. He was a mad scientist, and it turned out that the 'mad' part was added for a reason. When they said nobody was safe from his scientific experiments, they meant literally nobody. Not even himself. It turned out that he started experimenting on his own body years ago already.
"Ain't it unfair?" he always said about those high level power users. "They get to live as gods. Powerful, forever young and nearly immortal."
At that point nobody raised any questions. It was well known fact about those powers users. An unfairness that was generally accepted by the public, as they knew there was nothing they could do about it.
Or was there?
Aiden wasn't afraid to push the boundaries. His opinions had always been controversial. To some extend, he might not even have believed he was mortal.
And eventually, he ended up not being human either...

For the #inktober challenge.
Ink and fineliners. Tried somewhat of a more loose approach without a real pencil sketch. Turns out that ink is a lot less forgiving than ballpoint pens ^^
It's hard to take decent picture if those pages keep curling T__T
