Feed Me aKa Spor: Representing both a literal and figurative exploration of creation and destruction, tomorrow's album is a diary of distilled creative process, folding between analogue and digital in a way that mirrors the combination of hazy nostalgia and technological idealism that I've come to realise frame my motivation.
Review: What a link up we have here, as the very much in-form sounds Yoofee are joined by the definition of consistency in 140-based music: White Peach Records. This is another display to knock your block off as 'Wings' arrives firstly with a spectacular display of fluttering woodwind and organic claps, followed by a system-busting masterclass in 'Wahhh', which deploys a lethal array of jittering sub-bass maneuvers, landing with instant impact. Next, the lively arpeggio action and shuffling drum beats of 'Fermata' takes the EP on a more stripped back path, before the eerie synth sweeps and bulging subs below 'Czeck Mystik' deliver one last guttural punch to send the dancefloor into a ruckus. Awesome stuff from Yoofee and another heavy-hitter for the White Peach catalogue.
Review: As an imprint, 1985 have always championed the weird and wonderful, which is why this fabulous new four track adventure from Tsuruda fits so perfectly. We begin our treacherous tale with 'Fugitive', which sees the man himself, Mr Alix Perez arrive on collaborative duty, supplying us with a truly magnificent journey through syncopated rhythm and synthetic action. Next, 'Kaioh' once again throws us wonky drum arrangements and other-worldy soundscaping, drawing us in with some fantastic compositional value, before the creeping melodic manoeuvres and grizzly low-ended writhes of 'Out Of Pocket' launch themselves forward. We then dive down a whole new hole of sonic depravity, as the gut-wrenching synth swipes of 'Migi' provide us with a suitably eye-opening outro. What a project it is!

Review: Camo Tribe have been surfing the radar of true school drum and bass now for two years now, who again rise to the surface with a a 22-track large compilation. Full of unique artists, monikers, aliases, collaborations and pseudonyms, Camo Tribe's expression comes through low key urban junglisms like C.E.'s "Are You For Real" next to UK hardcore and rave in S-Man's "Clash Tings". You'll find an undeniable classic edge and retroactive refreshments in numbers by Destiny, DJ Evil E and Conrad Sub, to the devilish dubs of Jumanji, Danny Styles "Get Mad (1996 Unreleased Dubplate)" and DJ Direkt.
Review: One for the real junglists out there: Drum&Bass Arena are honoured to welcome legend of the scene Digital who teams up with rising Sheffield-based producer Charla Green for the label's 25th anniversary series with two heavyweight tracks. Very much on the liquid tip, the spellbinding "On The Grind" is an expression in covert breakbeat intelligence that is reminiscent of classic the more detailed and complex sonic expressions from the turn of the millenium, while "Stylee" is a throwback to the jungle heyday of the mid '90s and will step you into a frenzy with its furious Amen riddims.
