УСПЕНСКИЙ СОБОР МОСКОВСКОГО КРЕМЛЯ Главный храм российского государства. Усыпальница московских митрополитов и патриархов. Собор является древнейшим полностью сохранившимся зданием Москвы, а также самым ранним из итальянских сооружений в Кремле. Построен в 1475—1479 годах под руководством итальянского зодчего Аристотеля Фиораванти. На протяжении веков собор был связан с важнейшими событиями в жизни страны. Здесь венчали на царство русских государей, избирали и поставляли на престол глав Русской церкви, проводили торжественные молебны перед военными походами и по случаю побед русских войск; оглашали государственные акты; совершали ритуалы погребения митрополитов и патриархов.   DORMITION CATHEDRAL OF MOSCOW KREMLIN Main cathedral of the tsardom of Russia. Burial place of Moscow metropolitans and patriarchs. During centuries, the cathedral was linked with the most important events in Russia. Grand princes and tsars were crowned here, heads of church were chosen and enthroned here, solemn prayers were held here before military campaigns and in honour of Russian victories, state acts were made public, Metropolitans and Patriarchs were buried here.  The cathedral is the oldest fully preserved building in Moscow, as well as the earliest of the Italian structures in the Kremlin. It was built in 1475-1479 under the supervision of the Italian architect Aristotle Fioravanti.
