A view near the entrance to Boulevard Cave in Lava Beds National Monument near Tulelake, California.  This flat section of hardened lava is known as "The Boulevard" & lasts for about 100 feet w/ a relatively low ceiling.  Look directly below to see the original writing from J.D. Howard, who was an early explorer of most of the main caves in the park.  There are two entrances also visible giving to a nice lighting effect.
