This is a pedestrian bridge is near the cricket ovals in Cardiff Park. While the bridge walkway is fairly new, the footings are preserved from an old bridge for a railway that connected to nearby collieries in the past. The line went as far as Lymington Colliery (a kilometre to the south of here), but would have also serviced the closer Cardiff Borehole Colliery. The line itself branched of a now disused siding that bypassed Cardiff Railway Station.
