The Naval Church in Pula (German: Marinekirche, Italian: Chiesa della Marina; today the Church of Our Lady of the Sea) was built on the hill of St. Polycarp in Pula at the end of the 19th century. Specifically, construction began in 1891, and the church was completed in 1898. The style of construction is a mixture of neo-Byzantineism and neo-romanticism, and three architects left their mark on the church: Friedrich von Schmidt, Victor Lunz and Natale Tommasi. The latter was from the vicinity of Trent and in 1890 he designed the building of the State German Gymnasium in Pula (today the Archaeological Museum of Istria) and the parish church of Sv. Agnes in Medulin.https://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mornari%C4%8Dka_crkva_u_Puliphoto: Voigtlander 12mm original size 17000x8500www.abagontheroad.com

Ocean Grove was founded in 1869 as an outgrowth of the camp meeting movement in the United States, when a group of Methodist clergymen, led by William B. Osborn and Ellwood H. Stokes, formed the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to develop and operate a summer camp meeting site on the New Jersey seashore.[12] By the early 20th century, the popular Christian meeting ground became known as the "Queen of Religious Resorts."[13] The community's land is still owned by the camp meeting association and leased to individual homeowners and businesses. Ocean Grove remains the longest-active camp meeting site in the United States

After 1395, when the lower castle Zebr'ak was damaged by fire, Wenceslas IV (1361–1419) built here a residential castle for the Bohemian and Roman king. The new castle was the last type of Bohemian castles with reduced defensive functions; it was primarily built for residential purposes, and structurally it’s halfway between a castle and a chateau. The castle was never conquered; instead, it was destroyed from the inside by locals who used it as a shelter from the Swedes during the Thirty Years War.

Kleinostheim is located in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg on the western edge of the Spessart. The church tower of St. Laurentius rises up in the middle of the village. The sacred building is comparatively young. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on March 15, 1948. The currency reform on June 21, 1948 seemed to destroy the project. Only the willingness to sacrifice of many people from Kleinostheim and the enormous number of voluntary works made the completion possible.

Directly above the Scoop, an event location for cinema, music and open-air theatre performances, you are surrounded by modern office buildings. At the same time you can see Tower Bridge and the "Tower" on the north bank of the Thames. To the west of the Tower, various skyscrapers grow higher and higher into the sky.

The Port of Ploce (Croatian: Luka Ploce) is a seaport in Ploce, Croatia, near the mouth of the Neretva river on the Adriatic Sea coast. It was formally opened in 1945 after a railway was built as a supply route to connect the site with industrial facilities in the Sarajevo and Mostar areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was then part of Yugoslavia. As of 2010, it ranked as the second largest cargo port in Croatia—after the Port of Rijeka—with a cargo throughput of 4.5 million tonnes, consisting mostly of general cargo and bulk cargo, including 20,420 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). In 2008, the Port of Ploce recorded 2,555 ship arrivals. It is managed by the Port of Ploce Authority. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_of_Plo%C4%8Dephoto: Voigtlander 12mm original size 17000x8500www.abagontheroad.com
