The Cathedral Church of Saints Asaph and Cyndeyrn, better known as St Asaph Cathedral, is the smallest Anglican cathedral in Great Britain. It is dedicated to the Celtic ecclesiastic who was bishop at an earlier church on the site in the 6th century. With damage inflicted by the English King Edward I and again by the Welsh rebel, Owain Glyn D^wr, the current cathedral was first started in the 13th century but not fully finished until the late 18th century.

St Fillan's is a Norman-built church located outside the walled gardens of Aberdour Castle. Its nave and chancel date from 1123. The building was enlarged with a side aisle in the 15th century, and again with a small transeptual aisle in the 17th century. The church fell into disrepair in the 18th century. It was restored in 1925 and remains an active parish church.
