A short walk from the picnic spot, one can have a view of the Pongola River flowing through the natural hills of Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This river forms the northern boundary of the Ithala Game Reserve.

Olive trees to be sold, Olive trees to take away! an amazing garden where everybody can buy palm trees, olive trees, and other plants. LIght at sundown is amazing. In the same location can be find the workshop of the famous sculptor, Toni Mar'i, who produces beautiful sculptures iron made. One of his more impressive works is the "whale" which is exactly in this location
