Stretching several hundred feet along the South Fork Payette River near Grandjean, Idaho are the Sacajawea Hot Springs. A number of rock ring bathing pools have been constructed as hot water, around 153*F, bubbles up into the cold snowmelt waters of the river. The main pools are popularly used but one can find natural seeps all alongside the banks.

Gigapixel summit view from the top of Fish Hook Mountain (elev. 5,030') in the Coast Mountains west of Galice, Oregon. It is one of a few high peaks in this region that tops over 5,000 feet with nearby Brandy Peak being the highest. Views were a bit hazy due to fires stemming all the way from Siberia, Russia. Nearby views of Sugarloaf Mountain & Brandy Peak to the north. The area was hit by the Biscuit Fire in 2002 & tree life has not made much of a recovery. In 1934 a fire lookout tower was constructed here but was eventually burned down w/ leftover wood fragments left over. Gigapixel panorama (1.132 gigapixels), 281 photos, 47576x23788 pixels

This manor complex was built in 1833 in neo-gothic style according to the designs of Hans von Stackenschneider, who would go on to become one of the key representatives of the historicist style in Russia. The manor has an amazing location – a rocky river with rapids runs through the valley, a 6 m waterfall and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The anthem of the Russian empire "God Save the Tsar!" was first performed for Tsar Nicholas I by its composer Aleksei Lvov at Keila-Joa.

NASA's Mars Exploration Program (Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS) Sol 610: Western Sky The images for panorama obtained by the rover's 34-millimeter Mast Camera. The mosaic, which stretches about 30,000 pixels width, includes 139 images taken on Sol 610 (April 24, 2014). The Sol 610 plan contains fairly simple, untargeted observations, including Mastcam and Navcam mosaics and a series of Navcam images of the western sky right after the sun sets behind Mt. Remarkable. Overnight, ChemCam will point at the dark sky and obtain calibration data, measuring thermal noise.
