The ruins of a small Augustinian Priory founded around 1216. It is dedicated to Olaf, the 11th century king and patron saint of Norway. Only parts of the church, cloister and refectory survive. The exception is its 14th century refectory undercroft, with its vaulted brick ceiling and purbeck marble columns, which remains largely intact and retains much of the original plasterwork.

Gigapixel view from atop Gearhart Mountain (elev. 8,370') north of Bly, Oregon.  The mountain is an old volcano that has been scoured down by glaciers, having abundant cliffs & rock outcroppings on all sides.  While the top is quite flat, it does have a fantastic 360 degree view.  High peaks include Lassen Peak, Mount Shasta, Mount Eddy, Mount McLoughlin, Sky Lakes Wilderness, Crater Lake, Mount Scott, Mount Thielsen, Mount Bailey, Howlock Mountain, Diamond Peak, Three Sisters, Yamsay Mountain, Dead Horse Rim nearby & even distant snowy Steens Mountain.  A rather long trek through the snow, most of the trees here are lodgepole pine & have been killed off from a mountain pine beetle epidemic.   Gigapixel panorama (1.435 gigapixels), 301 photos, 53572x26786 pixels
