Shasta.  The lookout tower site has been established since 1912.

The Marmifera railway was used to transport the Carrara marble from the quarries to the port of Marina di Carrara. The railway began operating in 1890 and was abandoned in 1964. Today a part of its course can be admired for example here in Vara.
