Aerial photography by skycam.ee / Jaan Kronberg Muraka Nature Reserve is a nature reserve situated in eastern Estonia, in Ida-Viru County. The history of the nature reserve goes back to 1938, when a protected area was designated in the area in an effort to protect nesting eagles in the area. The nature reserve is characterised by its wetlands; several large bogs are surrounded by mires, swamps, fens and rivulets. In addition, there are also areas of unspoilt forest. The nature reserve is one of few remaining wilderness areas in north-east Estonia. The nature reserve is an important refuge for several species of animals. The peregrine falcon, otherwise rarely seen regularly in Estonia, can often be seen there. The Siberian flying squirrel, Cucujus cinnaberinus and Boros schnederi are also present. In nearby Oonurme village, a small permanent exhibition about the nature reserve is on display in the community centre. In the nature reserve itself, trails have also been prepared for interested visitors. Source: Wikipedia

The "Big Cathedral" of Z"urich is a 12th century Romanesque ex-cathedral with a fascinating history of Catholic saints and Protestant preaching. According to legend, the Grossm"unster was founded by Charlemagne after his horse stopped over the graves of three early Christian martyrs. Four francs and 200 narrow, uneven stone/wood steps take you to the top of the highest of the towers. Its spires and tops were actually destroyed after a fire in 1763 and then were reconstructed with the Gothic-style sections that can be seen today. The four balconies of the tower provide marvelous views of the city, including several other nearby churches such as the Fraum"unster or the Peterskirche. In addition, it is fascinating to see the Limmat river flowing out of the lake of Z"urich from high above. Source: 4 Best Views From The Roofs of Z"urich
