Lubovniansky castle was built by the Hungarian king Oondrej III. At the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. It originated as a border guard castle, protecting business trips to Poland. In the preserved part of the castle there is a museum, which includes historical exposition. It is open all year round to the public. Right next to the Lubovniansky hrad is an exposition of the Museum of Folk Architecture in this area. From the castle there is a view of the town of Star'a Lubovna. Turiisticky je celorocne pr'istupn'y verejnosti.Priamo pod Lubovnianskym hradom sa nach'adza expoz'icia M'uzea ludovej architekt'ury tejto oblasti. Z hradu je v'yhlad na mesto Star'a Lubovna.

Bansk'a Stiavnica Gernan Schemnitz, Hungarian: Selmesb'anya - often the short form is used: Selmec, is a town in central Slovakia in the middle of an immense calderacreated by the collapse of an ancient volcano. For its size, the caldera is known as Stiavnica Mountains. Because of their historical value, the town and its surroundings were proclaimed by the UNESCO to be a World Heritage. The Old Castle - a national cultural monument - whose origins reach back to the early 13th century, bears traces of practically all the building styles and houses a museum since 1900.
