Peering at the entrance of an old adit along the East Applegate Ridge Trail near Ruch, Oregon.  The top has collapsed but the tree roots of the scrub oaks above have prevented a complete collapse.  I didn't venture too far inside, the ceiling is ready to fall at any moment & it is quite musty inside, not to mention some animal droppings throughout.
