At the corner of Panisperna and Boschetto, in the Monti section of Rome, I found a building more than half covered by an exuberant vine. Romans love their vines, but this is really over the top; especially considering that the city was already in the grip of a historic drought.

The goat-man was sculpted in antiquity, and has been reclining behind his small fountain since 1581. Romans have always called him "the baboon", today the upscale shopping street on which he resides is Via del Babuino.

The Baby Taj - The Tomb of Itimad ud Daulah. Located in Agra, India. The tomb is the precursor to the Taj Mahal as it was built by Nur Jahan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg (also called “the pillar of the state” or Itimad-ud-Daulah) in the years 1622-1628, 5 years before construction of the Taj Mahal began.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: The Fichtelberg is a mountain with two main peaks in the middle of the Ore Mountains in the east German state of Saxony, near the Czech border. At 1,214.6 m (3,985 ft) above sea level, the Fichtelberg is the highest mountain in Saxony, the second highest in the Ore Mountains and used to be the highest mountain in East Germany. Its subpeak is 1.206 m (3.957 ft) high.

We were here on the 16th April 2017. A very scenic part of the world, definitely iconic for London and people verywhere !
