Muktinath - a valley in the Himalayas, is located in the territory of Nepal in the administrative area of Mustang. Muktinath is a sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. In the valley there are a large number of temples and monasteries.

An elevated view above the distinctive asymmetric cable-stayed swing footbridge which traverses the Manchester Ship Canal. This bridge provides a link between the developments on either side of the ship canal, with the two largest broadcasters in the UK – the BBC and ITV – facing each other. Other key attractions in the area are also visible from this vantage point, including the Lowry, The Imperial War Museum in the North, , the Coronation Street set, and The Studios from Dock10. The bridge was completed in 2011 and is regularly used by pedestrians and cyclists travelling between Salford and Manchester, especially to and from MediaCity UK.
