Open Happiness was created in the spirit of dedication and
collaboration with artists and producers from across the US. It turned
Coke’s famous “5-note tune” into a full length song. Butch Walker
oversaw the recording of Travis McKoy and Brendon Urie in NYC, Cee-Lo
and Janelle Monae in Atlanta, and Patrick Stump in LA. Butch Walker and
Polow Da Don came together to mix multiple versions of the single, and
add additional recordings. This continent-wide collaboration is now
realized in Open Happiness

Also, F is for The Fireman. This album came out a few months ago, another Paul McCartney project, and this song in particular blows me away. Who knew someone in their 60’s could still sing like this?
Oh one more thing, We are finally putting out Pretty Odd on vinyl, which I’m very excited about and you can get yours here. There are only 2500 of these so get one while you can.
The Hollies, another one of my favorite British acts, and another with more than a few handfulls of good songs. I’ll give you a handfull though cause I couldn’t pick one.
The Hollies-Bus Stop
The Hollies-Carrie Anne
The Hollies-Pay You Back With Interest
Also, I’m gonna go ahead and do G too. You see, I’m moving to California and I may not have the internet when I get there for a while, but I want to finish this … mixtape/ipodlist/musicalABC’s thing. So be aware, 2 letters a day from now on.
G is for..
Gary Glitter, Alex showed me this stuff while we were on tour and its undeniably got “party” written all over it. Katy Perry should know. Or maybe she doesn’t even know. Maybe you can make a remix of her song and this one.
Gary Glitter -Rock and Roll Part 1
This one too, even though it’s pretty much the same vibe. Actually, I prefer this one.
So I made a huge mistake last night… That mistake was this: Going to see Criss Angel’s (you know, the Mindfreak) show “Believe”. It wouldn’t have been such a mistake if I could have just laughed the whole time as I had planned to do, friends have said nothing but bad things about this show, but unfortunately it was so awful I ended up just feeling bad, for him. That is when I felt like he really flipped it on me. Because he still got our money, and sympathy. What I had planned on, was a night out where I could laugh at this man in person. Joke was on me I guess. I would go into detail but it’s just not worth reliving. Have any of you seen this? I cannot believe Cirque Du Soleil put their name on this thing.
So here I am, doing my best Criss Angel face. Angel face haha.
Also, I is for Isley Brothers. We covered “Shout” as performed by said brothers on our last tour maybe you saw it. Maybe not, either way we usually came to the conclusion that we should have just played that song 12 times instead of any of ours.
