Behind The Scenes of “Ready To Go” |
Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith have given Rolling Stone an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of their new ‘Ready to Go’ video. According to director Shane Drake, the concept began with the simple idea of wanting to shoot Urie out of a cannon. Around that he built a video that incorporates a secret portal to a magical world, a stuffed zebra and a Singin’ in the Rain homage on a misty, cobblestoned street. “It’s our version of a musical,” explains Smith. Urie steals the show throughout as a dancing chimney sweep, a Buddy Holly lookalike and as high-caliber cannon fodder. — RS.com
