This Monday (August 10th) Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco will launch a new event at Angels & Kings New York called AKoustic Mondays.
Brendon will be playing hits for fans and friends at the bar starting at 7 PM. The event is open to the public with a $5 charge and a two for one drinks special.
Attendees might even be able to convince Brendon to do an accoustic rendition of their hit “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” that skyrocketed the band in 2006.
Panic! At The Disco is joining Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy on their tour August 12th. After hitting the road with Blink they will go back to recording demos for their next release.
The band recently unveiled a track that will be featured in the new Megan Fox film “Jennifer’s Body”. To listen to the song, titled “New Perspective”, go to their Myspace http://www.myspace.com/panicatthedisco.
Angels & Kings is located at 500 East 11th Street, between Avenue A and Avenue B. For more information visit their website http://www.angelsandkings.com/nyc/.
The current and recently departed members of the Las Vegas band Panic! At the Disco might not fully appreciate this analogy, but there was a time when you had to flip a vinyl album to finish the music. There was a break, midway, built right into the finished product, at which point you manually turned the disc over to hear it play out.
