Hey folks in Australia

I just want to let you guys know that the Dolliography Team is putting together a book of photographs taken by dolls owners who reside in Australia. It would be cool to see this happen and I think it's a great way to share our hobby.

Be sure to read all the submission rules before you contribute your photos as there may be some dolls who are not allowed by their manufacturers to be included in the publication.

Note: My boy Nik is a very withdrawn and tortured soul...well can't blame him really, first he was born a girl, bullied all through primary and middle school, then at 18 was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by someone he thought he could trust, then he finally scraped enough money to get a body mod, but still he's always feeling less than a real man...so yea a whole lot of emotional baggage...URRRKKK...why the hell did I make this character??? So anyway, the idea is to be thinking up all this shit while I repaint him cause I'm hoping this will help me progress in my fic...oh god, I really can't call that a fic...it's a piece of rat shit really....*buries one's self in cat litter* Again I'm only using 2 colours here-dark red and medium grey- because I suffer from the drag queen syndrome (that's when you put on make up to go to work which should really be more fitting to go to the mardi gras with). It's interesting when you mix these colours around you can actually get a whole range of different shades which are technically different colours...

Note: When I first saw this head I thought omg those eyes are sooo disproportionately big and droopy and those droopy bottom cheeks are so just gaaarrrghhh, and the large nose...how the hell am i going to do this one?? So haha i looked around youtube for some inspiration and stumbled upon Michelle Phan's Vampire look tutorial. Now Michelle Phan is an amazing make up artist...my stupid doodling here will of course be nowhere near that level, but i thought i'd use a bit of her vampire rusty eyes for this head. I think because the eyes are large I thought i would balance the face with thick & prominent eyebrows, so they draw the attention away from the eyes (i hope)....and cause the mouth of this sculpt is soooo BIG, I paled it right down again so i dont draw too much attention to it....can't do much about the nose, i didn't want to re-model it, it's good the way it is.
