Пятница, тридцатое октября было отмечено в календаре красным цветом у многих болельщиков самарского клуба Крылья Советов. В этот день их любимый клуб должен был сражаться со своим принципиальным соперником казанским Рубином на поле соперника.
Люди бросали работу, учёбу, дабы выбраться в соседнюю республику и поболеть за свой любимый клуб. В результате люди получили следующее:
С самого въезда в город, и до самого сектора, самарскую делегацию обследовали на каждом шагу. Объясняя тем, что «Вы не в России, здесь свои порядки», ЛЮДЕЙ (!!!) били (и не всегда только руками и ногами), использовали дубинки, чтобы будить спящих пассажиров. Некоторых за недовольство таким обращением забирали уже на постах, и везли к стадиону в бобиках. Болельщики были в шоке от такого «гостеприимства». И можно представить настроение людей, когда они всё-таки попали на «свой» сектор, перед этим получив ещё одну немаленькую порцию унижения при проходе на сектор – ЛЮДЕЙ опять же били, толкали, раздевали до трусов, прощупывали гениталии так, что некоторым после этого больно было ходить…
В кипу ко всему тому, что было до начала футбольного матча, добавился ещё и сам матч. Игроки, по всей видимости, в этот день были в сговоре с блюстителями так называемого «порядка», и в который раз показали своё неуважение к болельщикам. Игроки знают, насколько данный матч принципиален для тех, кто в отличие от них, связан с клубом не контрактом, а сердцем и душой. И, тем не менее, вместо того, чтобы «рвать и метать» на поле, выступали в этом матче зрителями атак Казанцев.
Апогеем всего этого стало, то, что показали по всем центральным каналам. Поджог двух кресел привёл к тому, что пожарные принялись тушить «пожар», поливая ЛЮДЕЙ. У пожарников, конечно, могут быть свои какие-то особые взгляды на жизнь, но тем, кто далёк от их «искусства» очень тяжело понять, каким образом может погаснуть огонь на креслах, если воду лить на ЛЮДЕЙ. И болельщики явно не просили холодный в конце октября, когда на улице идёт снег. Это к вопросу о том, что послужило катализатором всех событий. Нет дыма без огня.
Далее. С сектора по истечении часа после окончания матча выпускают по одному. «Понравившихся» забирают с собой. «Нравились» товарищам в погонах (в данном тексте неслучайно понятие ЛЮДИ не используется в отношении милиционеров) в основном люди с грязными руками, лицом.
ЛЮДЕЙ таскали за волосы, рвали одежду, в буквальном смысле слова «вели пенками». В итоге 120 человек вместо дороги домой увидели дорогу в отделения милиции, где над ними продолжали издеваться и издеваются до сих пор.
Ребят бьют, не дают спать, не кормят, во многих камерах люди спят стоя или по очереди.
В то же время, по телевидению и в прессе начали появляться видеоролики и статьи о том, как «самарские фанаты сожгли сектор». И ни слова о том, как вели себя «блюстители порядка». ПОЧЕМУ?
ПОЧЕМУ? Почему поджог двух кресел – это зверский акт вандализма, а бесчеловечное поведение персон с погонами на плечах и дубинками на плечах – это нормально? Почему?
Почему вся Россия уже сутки только и говорит о том, какие в Самаре отмороженные болельщики? Почему?
По имеющейся информации, один из самарских болельщиков, в возрасте 15ти лет получил в наказания за «злодеяния» административный арест, равный по суткам количеству лет, прожитых им…
Родители его узнали уже об этом по факту вынесения приговора. Скажите, где в УК написано, что милиция имеет на это право?
В основном же задержанным назначили наказания виде 4-5 суток административного ареста.
На троих заведены уголовные дела за «хулиганство и причинение вреда имуществу». Какое хулиганство? Укрытие от водомёта или давки теперь котируется как хулиганство? Или как вандализм?
Всех троих посчитали «зачинщиками беспорядков». Значит, если человек захотел спастись от струи холодной воды и д. авки означает, что он зачинщик беспорядков?
На лицо факт полного нарушения, как законов России, так и человеческих законов со стороны носителей пагонов.
Так же стоит упомянуть о факте кражи (!) барабана, сотрудниками милиции города Казани. На просьбу отдать барабан, сотрудник клуба (!) получил оскорбления и угрозы.

Далее приведены цитаты реальных ЛЮДЕЙ, описывающих реальные события:

«Здравствуйте все болельщики Крыльев. Скажу сразу, что плохо понимаю во всех войнах. Но то, что творилось в Казани повергло меня в шок. Скажу сразу: ехали смотреть футбол, вдвоём (муж и я) на автобусе. На территории Татарстана автобус остановил наряд ДПС. Доблестные сотрудники, которого вошли в автобус и, будя дубинками, спящих людей, не взирая на то женщина, ребёнок или мужчина приказали самарским с паспортами идти на пост - регистрироваться . Остановил пыл бравого татарстанского ДПСника только вопрос о приказе, по которому вдруг, люди из Самары не являются гражданами России и просьба представиться - он вышел. Далее доехали без приключений. Встретил нас знакомый - болельщик рубина. Весь день гуляли по Казани мы с зелеными шарфами, он с красным. Погода не очень, но все хорошо. Вошли на стадион, заняли места по пригласительным на Випе. Матч начался. начался и концерт, устроенный нам уважаемыми татарскими аксакалами. Замечу что все действующие лица в этой истории трезвые. После гола крыльев аксакал начал толкать меня (девушку ростом 160см и весом 5о кг) в спину, орать, что все в Самаре наркоманы, обвинять меня в том , что я ломаю им стадион. В заключении монолога сказал, что русским надо строить концлагеря, а русским бабам делать аборты, и вообще русские бабы должны убирать в домах у высшей нации- татар. Это Все в ВИП секторе абсолютно трезвый татарин лет 55 на вид. Я в шоке. Полез отбирать шарф у мужа. Татарская милиция слушала все это и , видимо, ждала, когда мы вступим в спор. Не дождались и были явно разочарованны. Так что теперь нельзя просто ездить смотреть футбол, не рискуя попасть в концлагерь? По- моему это мнение не одного этого татарина, а руководства Татарстана в целом. И то, что случилось, потом с нашими болельщиками это только подтверждает. Это не война клубов - это татарский нацизм на почве зачаточного самоопределения. Очень хочется спросить президента Татарстана - к Универсиаде, уважаемый президент вы успеете построить концлагеря?»

Я был в Казани на матчах 4 раза. После "дружелюбной" встречи организаторами соревнований у меня возникало желание не "подставить левую щеку", а сломать им обе. Так что поведение наших я понимаю. Более того, уверен, был бы помоложе наверняка тоже бы поучаствовал. Это далеко не первый случай, так было в казани всегда. И это вина руководства, что со стороны клуба не предпринято мер, по обеспечению безопасности и беспрепятственного посещения матча своими болельщиками. Вот когда что-то делают для тебя, а ты в ответ барагозишь и вандализмом занимаешься, тогда и можно предъявлять (как в данном случае извинения от клуба, тьфу). А когда тебя бросили на произвол перед татарскими служителями порядка. то всё вполне понятно. Или может быть наше мсковское руководство клуба не знает, о состоянии дел при выезде в Казань? тогда зачем оно такое руководство? Чтобы нам как дебилам про строящиеся пирамиды рассказывать?

Бил омон, почку пробили, не давали спать. Мест в камерах нет, все стоят, спят на лавках по очереди. Каждого допрашивали раз по шесть, некоторым дали по 7 суток.»

Уважаемое (?) руководство ФК "Крылья Советов"! Расспросите самарских парней и девушек, а также журналистов ОБО ВСЕМ, что было на стадионе, а не только о том, что вам преподнесли центральные каналы, и вступитесь наконец за тех людей, кто в такую погоду, в рабочий день бросил все дела, чтобы поддержать клуб. Я поехал с больным желудком, что сказалось на мне в течение всего выезда, и как и остальные самарцы не в первый раз почувствовал на себе все прелести казанского гостеприимства. Вам не стыдно? Вы обвиняете своих, при этом даже не пытаясь взглянуть на все с другой стороны, глазами рядового болельщика, в числе которых были семейные люди, тронутые сединой, и к которым было проявлено вопиющее неуважение.

Да.... Посмотрел я сюжет о "разгроме стадиона". Ужас. Эту туфту впаривают ничего непонимающему в футболе и околофутболе люду, а люд хавает и хватается за голову: Кошмар! Нелюди! Подонки!!!
Но есть и нормальные люди, которые прекрасно понимают что разгрома стадиона не было, 600 сломаных сидений бред и тд...
Очеь удивлен позицией некототорых самарских "любителей футбола" и реакцией вашего руководства. Осуждаете своих же парней и девушек, которых почти сутки мешали с дерьмом, били, оскарбляли, вытирали ноги об них...После этого они еще и у своих не в почете...Несколько запаленных сидений - это же беспредел, а ногами и дубинами по почкам - это нужно терпеть, до свадьбы заживет...
Позиция татар: Мывсегда рады болельщикам из других городов. Брехня. Из года в год болельщики из других городов унижаются татаромусарней. Все помнят выезд коней на баскет например. Видео, которые они передали на телевидение - полная лажа, там ни чего нет для доказательства вины самарских парней. Выбежали на бег. дорожку? Трое суток максимум, т.к. матч не сорвали. Кресла ломали? Да их по всей стране ломают. Нех людей бить и объявлять им что они приехали в мифическое исламское государство.
Короче говоря Шпрыгину звоните, они с Батумским это все как нужно преподнесут в СМИ и полетят звезды с погон..В след. году в казань как на курорт приедите....

А руководство наше это вообще отдельная тема - "иногда лучше жевать, чем говорить" (с) Выпустили очередной перл-защитим футбол от вандалов. И почему-то никто не подумал, что стоит защищать самарцев от произвола казанской милиции.

нет чтобы хотя бы в такой момент(с такой игрой) болел поблагодорить (что они вообще поехали бросили работу учёбу а они....цуки) а и ТРЕНЕР и РУКОДОСТВО всех собак на нас опять сбросили....с таким обращением к болелам не видать вам полных трибун не когда.............

Примерно через час после матча отборочного матча Евро-2008 с командой Эстонии болельщики сборной России смогли покинуть трибуны и направились на Ратушную площадь, чтобы отпраздновать победу. По пути их встретила группа эстонских неонацистов, в результате чего произошла серьёзная драка. Не меньше десятка молодых людей, бритых наголо и одетых в камуфлированные брюки, начали выяснять отношения с россиянами практически на проезжей части. Полицейская машина прибывает мгновенно, но стражи порядка ведут себя как-то странно. Разделив враждующих и, никого не задержав, они беседуют с эстонскими скинхедами и уезжают. Россияне тем временем группируются на другом конце улицы. Очевидно, что сейчас последует продолжение.

Как только исчезает полиция, драка вспыхивает с новой силой. Россияне бегут обратно к своим оппонентам, один из которых моментально оказывается на асфальте от сильного удара в лицо. Остальных неонацистов загоняют в небольшую слабоосвещённую улочку, где начинается настоящее побоище с участием порядка полусотни человек. Фанаты вырывают шлагбаумы, преграждающие въезды во дворы, хватают все подручные средства и ожесточенно бьют ими друг друга. Прохожие в ужасе замирают, безмолвно наблюдая за не виданной для тихого Таллинна картиной.

Полиция прибывает лишь спустя несколько минут,но утихомирить дерущихся даже ей удается не сразу. Большинство российских болельщиков покидают поле боя, избежав задержания. Практически у каждого разбиты лицо и губы, у одного из россиян кровь струится из головы. Окрестности оглашает скандирование "Россия, Россия!" Никто из эстонцев из темной улочки уже не вышел - ими занялась полиция.

YouKnowMe (hooligansnews) все записи автора На нескольких станциях московского метро произошли драки болельщиков футбольных клубов ЦСКА и "Спартак". Столкновения произошли в вагонах поездов на кольцевой линии. На станции "Добрынинская" пришлось высадить из поезда пассажиров и отправить состав в депо.
На Калужской и Сокольнической линиях хулиганы разбили стекла в нескольких вагонах. Милиционеры задержали несколько десятков молодых людей, передает "Эхо Москвы".

Всего в Москве произошло более 20 столкновений фанатов, в том числе возле железнодорожных станций пригородных электричек.

Матчи между "Спартаком" и ЦСКА нередко заканчиваются драками и беспорядками. Впрочем, иногда фанаты обеих команд пытаюся выяснить отношения еще до начала игры. Так, 9 сентября прошлого года,еще до начала матча между ЦСКА и Спартаком стычка фанатов произошла в районе станции метро Рязанский проспект. По официальным данным в беспорядках принимали участие примерно по 60 человек с каждой стороны.

Несмотря на то, что сотрудники милиции довольно оперативно вмешалась в дело, несколько человек все же получили легкие травмы.

PEN-GUN (hooligansnews) все записи автора Добрый день, вечер, утро… Хуй его знает, кто и когда будет это все читать.
Начну с того, что эта статья – мой личный взгляд на происходящее в Одессе, хотя обязательно коснусь и всего украинского околофутбольного движения. Кроме того, надо бы отметить, что я закончил принимать участие в траблах, после приезда днепрян в сентябре 2005 г., когда блядские хохлы в лице «кефиров», наломали мне красивый уход из «большого спорта», в возрасте 35 лет. Как говорится, когда-то приходит время заканчивать, дата окончания была определена, жаль не получилось как хотелось... О-от суки!… Впрочем, думаю, могут найтись люди, не понимающие о чем я. Коротко расскажу. Игра «Черноморца» дома с «Днепром». Ждем и ищем днепрян. Общий сбор был назначен к 13-00, до этого – как кому хочется. Скауты работали с утра. Днепрян особо искать не пришлось, расположились они возле стадио в парке, в количестве человек 60-65, как доложила разведка. В районе 13-30 принято решение выдвигаться (нас – под полтинник). Когда до противника оставалось не более минуты ходу, появился скаут и сообщил, что моб оппонента насчитывает не менее 80 щей. Но народ был на взводе: мы их и такое количество вальнем! Однако… После начала столкновения, секунд через 30, когда вся основа увязла в махаче, из засады прыгнуло человек 20 хохлов, решивших сделать левый выезд. Результат – поражение одесситов. Я сломал руку о какого-то балбеса, выезд в Борисполь, на хохлов, пришлось отложить. Проигрыш этого махача, как и все прочие неудачи одесситов – в недостатке организации. В организации я подразумеваю все: и доверие к своим скаутам, и более жесткая дисциплина и т.д. Правда, начать я хотел немного не так…
Итак, что сказать. Нельзя сказать, что дела веселые. Как всегда, одесситы проигрывают главному своему оппоненту – хохлам – в количестве. Дело привычное, никого этим не удивишь. Только вот образовалась проблема серьезная после ухода остатков возрастных людей – исчезло в банде то, что было ее главным достоинством: безбашенность, сила духа, смелость, способность выйти маленьким количеством на любое число соперника. Кроме того, киевляне очень серьезно прибавили в качестве: уровень подготовки бойцов у них вырос на порядок. Совсем недавно у одесситов появился еще один серьезный соперник – днепряне. По количеству эти тоже в свою очередь уже начали нас превосходить, и, думается, они идут по пути хохлов. Здоровый образ жизни, занятия спортом, привлечение в ряды профессиональных спортсменов, плюс количество – вот чем берут хохлы сейчас. И как не вспомнить год эдак 2000-й, когда я говорил тем нашим, кому сейчас от 23-х: идите в спортзалы, занимайтесь собой, только качеством мы сможем валить хохлов. А что получилось? Как распиздяйничали в своей основе, так и продолжают. Кто из этой толпы внял моим советам? Да никто! Водка, пиво, а у кое-кого и наркотики, как были, так и остаются главными видами спорта. Так что события последнего года – это всего лишь логичный итог развития нашего движа за последние пять лет. Пока одесситы, как не прискорбно это звучит, еще находятся на пути от пьяного, почти неорганизованного фанатизма 90-х к высокоорганизованному хулиганизму. Вообще надо понимать, что в 90-х годах в Одессе рулили люди, которые были гм… суппортирующими хулиганами. В куче были все: 10-15 хулс, и масса фанатья, которое чтобы не потерять лицо, держалось бойцов. Теперь же пошло разделение: отдельно суппортеры, отдельно хулиганы, а средний класс – как получится.
Сегодня в Одессе есть одна более или менее организованная банда. Это – Пираты. Хотя какая на хрен организация, когда не смогли выкупить двух людей, попавших в застенки к серым?! На подходе интересная, достаточно молодая фирма, названия я пока не слышал, и вообще не знаю, будет ли когда оно, но в любом случае посмотрим, что у них получится. Ну и самые молодые – Хантерсы. Задатки как бы есть, вопрос будут ли они идти за старшими, которые в своей основе забыли как выглядит спортзал, или все-таки выведут одесский футбольный хулиганизм на более высокий уровень. Больше хулс-мобов в Одессе нет вообще. Вот и прикидываю я – кругом-бегом эти бандформирования наберут человек 40 регулярного состава. (Ой, забыл, есть как бы организованный алкоголь-фронт, человек десять от силы. Хотя, именно этот фронт может очень серьезно повеселить хохлов на дерьме, которого так хотелось «хохлам-кефирам»). А кто ж еще приходит на сборы? Мать его е, ведь собрали сотню людей на приезд хохлов, 80 – на днепрян. Почему эти люди не знают, что делать? А вообще надо сказать вот что – потенциал в Одессе сумасшедший, но нет одной из самых главных составляющих – нет сильных лидеров. Вспоминая прошлое, можно сказать, что у всех, кто мог стать лидером в одесском движе, был один недостаток – ЛЕНЬ. Сегодняшних ребят, способных потянуть груз лидерства знаю не настолько плотно, чтобы четко представлять себе, чего они могут достигнуть. Хотя, думаю, все будет отлично, так как иначе просто не может быть. Одесситы не такой народ, чтобы перед хохлами разбегаться. Главное ведь что? Перебороть лень-матушку и закончить переход от вчерашнего дня к сегодняшнему. Чем быстрее это закончится, тем быстрее в Киеве опять будут думать: «А вообще стоит ли нам ехать в Одессу?».
Отдельной строкой о «кефирах», о «крутых хохлах». Их моб действительно выглядит на фоне всех остальных достаточно круто. Но к ним возникают вопросы, самый главный из которых: какого хуя вы, господа «кефиры», возвращаете в украинский хулиганизм дерьмо, как обычную составляющую будущих пересечений? Вы в своем большинстве пришли в движ, когда с большим трудом удалось договориться о чистых руках. Кто-то из вас «кефиров» вообще был в Конче-Заспе на первом махаче с чистыми руками? Какого же спрашивается болта вы разрушаете то, что не вы построили? Вам что, хочется трупов? Покалеченных соперников? Или хочется своих людей потерять в боях? Везде народ старается уйти от дерьма, а вы получается к нему стремитесь. В целом же о хохлах, можно сказать, что это сейчас все же лучшая банда в стране: много бойцов и все остальное…
О днепрянах особо говорить нечего. Большое количество людей, за счет чего бороться с ними на данном этапе могут только одесситы, и харьки дома. Впрочем, весной все может измениться, для этого харькам надо собрать нормальный состав к ним в гости, как по качеству, так и по количеству. Днепряне – очень перспективная банда, много молодежи и если все будет так идти и дальше, то через пару лет… Вообще они молодцы, за три-четыре года из практического нуля собрали третий, как я оцениваю, по боеспособности моб. Это надо постараться. Конечно, не без помощи хохлов они вышли на ведущие роли, но все же.
Жаль хулс «Шахтера». Количественно они не потянули днепрян, а выгребать постоянно не очень приятно. Зато остались самые стойкие. Жду, когда они смогут выступить.
Отдельная тема – харьки, хочется, чтобы они поднялись повыше, а после начала их войны с хохлами это желание только усилилось. Потенциал сейчас наверно не меньше одесского, главное правильно им распорядиться.
Об остальных говорить мне особо нечего. Пошли движи по всей вышке, да и не только по вышке, а это уже радует. Ничем особым никто не выделяется.
Гм… А ведь чуть не забыл Львов. Чует мое сердце и головой понимаю – будут с ними траблы. Хотя те, кто сейчас является основой, еще могут сдерживать молодежь, которая легла под хохлов, но не долго это будет длиться. А после всех последних событий (кубок Украины в сентябре 2005 г., «Карпаты»–«Черноморец»), думаю, у молодых одесситов отношение к львовянам будет соответствующие. Мне вообще непонятно, как до сих пор одна из самых серьезных по потенциалу в плане хулс-движа фанатских банд находится в хвосте околофутбола.
Да, не коснулся еще одной темы – суппорта команды. Здесь одесситы растут и очень сильно. Очень помогает в этом Интернет и гостевая сайта chernomorets.com – «Соборка». На данный момент только «Соборка» может выехать составом более 50 человек на выезд поддержать команду (хулиганов в составе Соборки можно сказать что нет. Хотя конечно есть, я был, к примеру, но к чистым хулс их отнести сложно. Есть несколько человек окружения). Пример «Соборки» говорит о том, что с людьми на стадио надо работать, в первую очередь с молодежью, а не замыкаться в себе, как это сделали Пираты. И тогда, уверен, в футбольном хулиганизме Одесса будет на первом месте.
На этом, все. Я не писатель. Выговорил, в первую очередь то, что наболело, но не доходит до многих людей. Может прочитав эту статью у одесситов гордость сыграет, они будут более серьезно относится к такому интересному движению как футбольный хулиганизм.
P.S. В Украине опять пошло дерьмо. Учитывая ситуацию, могу сказать, что если все дружно не решат эту проблему, то в украинском ОФ возможен серьезный отток людей. И не надо себя тешить мыслями, что одесситы будут драться на дерьме с хохлами, а все остальные останутся в стороне. Если этого не закончить – дерьмо будет везде. Кто умеет думать, поймет почему…
От себя хотел бы всем пожелать не устраивать из околофутбола тотальную беспринципную войну. Мое мнение – это должен быть такой себе вид спорта что ли, часть отдыха так сказать.

В Греции в очередной раз произошли столкновения между поклонниками двух враждующих клубов - афинского «Панатинаикоса» и пирейского «Олимпиакоса». Как сообщает РИА «Новости», болельщики вторых устроили на поклонников первых целых две засады. Первая оказалась неудачной из-за того, что поезд с болельщиками «Панатинаикоса» проследовал мимо платформы, на которой их ждали пирейцы, без остановки. Зато когда, сойдя с поезда, афиняне направились на паром, который должен был доставить их на Крит на матч очередного тура чемпионата Греции, на них неожиданно напала группа из примерно семидесяти человек.
Они забрасывали афинян бутылками с зажигательной смесью, камнями и другими предметами. Полиции удалось разогнать болельщиков «Олимпиакоса», но задержан ни один из них не был. Зато были задержаны 62 подвергнувшихся нападению афинянина. Дело в том, что в конце октября, после серьёзных столкновений на стадионах, прокуратура запретила болельщикам устраивать массовые совместные путешествия на выездные матчи своей команды из-за опасности спровоцировать нападение недружелюбно настроенных группировок.

YouKnowMe (hooligansnews) все записи автора During the 70's, 80's and early 90's West Ham United had what was proberly the country's best known and largest Hooligan firm. "The Inter city Firm" ( ICF ). The group in those days had it's roots in the area's around the East End. Canning Town, Plaistow, Stratford all provided lads who were to become legendary in the pubs and terraces at West Ham. Further out along the A13 has always been West Ham "country" and big groups came from Romford, Barking & Dagenham on the outskirts of East London and many more from further out into Essex. All these groups came together on match days and were an awesome firm and would see off any rivals willing to try there luck in the streets around the ground.
Many supporters from other clubs now talk about the 'most frightening walk' in English football being the walk from Upton Park Station to the Stadiums 'away fans' section in the South bank, unfortunately for them they were very often far from safe once they got inside the Ground as well. West ham lads would queue up and go into the away section causing mayhem and if that was not possible, then the segregation in the old South bank was only one fence with an open gate half way up. Occasionally the few police that use to mind the gate would go missing and the hordes of West Ham's south bank lads would pile through and into the shocked away support. Many of the ICF's top lads could also be found in the Lower West side at West Ham, they would gather in the corner where the West stand and the South bank meet, they could taunt the visitors all through the game and if it did go 'off', then it was across the small wall and after only a yard or two they would be in the away section.
Away games saw the ICF move into a league of their own. The organised supporters travel would be ignored and in the early days the firm would travel via the Rail network, arriving in towns well away from the official supporters clubs and with the element of surprise in their favour. Later, coaches would be hired and an early morning meet in one of various pubs would see 3 or 4 easily filled and loads of cars and vans would follow the main group out of East London. London games saw some of the biggest battles and the London Underground with it's maze of tunnels would be used to get across London without the Police being able to keep track of the firm. In those days entrance to grounds and more to the point the "Home" end was easy. No tickets were needed you just queued up and in you went. Especially in London where the accent didn't give you away ! !
During the 90's the ICF began to slow down. As did all the large hooligan groups across the country, lots of media type people and observers have wrote rubbish about Raves, Court cases ( failed !), CCTV and Police being the reasons for the trouble at football being a lot less than in previous years. My feeling is that the introduction of all ticket games is the biggest reason. Most Premier league football is sold out months in advance, tickets are sold to Club members or via Season tickets and large groups intent on trouble simply cant get a seat for today's games. Why travel all the way across the country if you know for certain that you wont be able to watch the game, dont believe all the idiots in "suits", most football hooligans are still football supporters and DO want to watch the match. All this does not mean that the ICF is finished. Recent years has seen more and more incidents involving the ICF and although they are not on the same scale as before, it is likely that the firm will get bigger as more are attracted to the "Buzz", and more pubs etc will be taken . .

Season 1999 / 2000
Chelsea v West Ham 07/11/99 Premier League. .......Chelsea and West Ham supporters clashed prior to this fixture. Police, including mounted branch officers then broke up the rival factions. Four arrests were made for affray and the rival supporters were escorted away.
West Ham United v Manchester United 18/12/99 Premier League. ......... At the end of this fixture the rival supporters attempted to confront each other. Disorder was prevented by the intervention of police, involving mounted branch officers and dog handlers. One police officer was injured when a bin was thrown at him. The Manchester supporters, now numbering around 75, were held near Upton Park Station and then escorted onwards by police. The West Ham supporters groups, numbering around 50, were at Plaistow Station. It was apparent that the two groups were in contact with each other via mobile phones. Both sets of supporters made their way to Euston. They again attempted to confront each other but were prevented from doing so by police.
Leicester City v West Ham 22/01/00 Premier League. ..........A group of thirty Leicester supporters attacked a public house where 20 West Ham supporters were drinking. Bottles, chairs and ashtrays were used during the attack. Police attended and separated the rival groups.
Watford v West Ham 04/03/00 Premier League. .......... About 30 - 40 West Ham supporters clashed with Watford supporters before the above fixture. Disorder occurred with fighting in the street and bricks and bottles were thrown through the windows of a public house. Six West Ham supporters were arrested.
Season 2000 / 2001
West Ham United v Manchester United 26/08/2000 Premier League. ..........Serious disorder occurred after the game in the Aldgate area. BTP dog handlers managed to separate a large group of fighting supporters
Ipswich Town v West Ham United 14/10/2000 - Premier League . ...........At around 7.30 pm a group of 40 Ipswich supporters approached the public house where the West Ham supporters were drinking. The Ipswich supporters stood outside and taunted the West Ham group. Police held the West Ham group in the pub and the Ipswich group then confronted police and arrests were made. Police used batons and CS spray during the disorder.
West Ham United v Newcastle United 28/10/2000 - Premier League. ............A group of West Ham fans tried to attack Newcastle fans on a London Underground station. When prevented from doing so by police they began smashing fittings on the train. Four people were arrested.
West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur 11/03/2001 - FA Cup Quarter FinalAt 3.15 pm a Spurs group numbering 60 were escorted to the stadium. 20 people were left in a public house with police monitoring them. During the escort a number of West Ham supporters shadowed the escort a large police presence prevented disorder. At 6 pm pub containing the 20 Spurs supporters was attacked by a small number of West Ham fans. Police disperssed the West Ham group. The Spurs group then attacked police. Shields were used by police and ten Spurs fans were arrested. The main Spurs group at the stadium was escorted to Upton Park station. Police then placed them on the tube system. They were escorted to Liverpool Street and settled in a public house. At 8.30 pm this group was confronted by a group of 30 West Ham supporters, but BTP intervention prevented disorder. The two groups were dispersed. At around 9.15 pm the Spurs group numbering around 14 people were arrested.Season 2002 / 03
26 January 2002 - Chelsea v West Ham United
About 200 West Ham fans drinking in two pubs at Putney Bridge station tried to break away from their police escort and a stand-off ensued. The group was eventually marched to Fulham Broadway tube station where they again tried to break through the police line. After the match the West Ham group tried to confront the Chelsea hooligans on the Kings Road. Graeme Le Saux was hit by a coin in the ground. Some Chelsea were seriously injured through the day.
Trouble involving West Ham also occured at Manchester United, Birmingham and various home games through the season.
Season 2003 / 04
29th October 2003 - Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United (Carling Cup)
Rampaging West Ham supporters started pitched battles with rival fans from Tottenham in North London before the Carling Cup game.
Tottenham High Road was described in press reports as resembling something of a battlefield after West Ham tore up several pubs associated with their opponents.
One of the main watering holes for Spurs fans - The Cockerel - was the central target for the hooligans who left its customers cowering inside after launching a vicious attack.
Police Said - The pub suffered "extensive damage" and a number of West Ham fans were later arrested at nearby Northumberland Park for criminal damage and violent disorder. "skirmishes" continued throughout the afternoon and evening on the High Road and at least two other pubs were damaged.
Questions are already being asked as to why the Police allowed such a large group of away fans to infiltrate rival areas so far ahead of the start of the game.
22nd March 2004 - Millwank v West Ham

Eight police horses charged on to the pitch and riot cops had to stamp out aggro by shameful Hammers fans, who saw their team taken apart. The violence was triggered by keeper Stephen Bywater’s sending off in the 60th minute of a volatile derby clash. Upton Park boss Pardew said: “You can’t condone that behaviour. But, by the same token the frustration that was coming from the pitch was always going to make our fans edgy. “We have to take responsibilty for that.”
Trouble flared when around 200 of the 2,900 visiting supporters attempted to bust through security cordons to get at rival fans. Scuffles broke out with stewards and some of the 1,100 officers on duty for the biggest police operation in British football history, costing £270,000.
And a huge-anti racism banner was ripped up. Two Hammers fans were arrested inside the ground for smashing up the toilets and a further three were ejected for causing disorder.
West Ham have also put out large firms for away trips including Cardiff and various other 1st Div games at home including Millwank & Cardiff .

Cardiff City fans were attacked in a pub by football hooligans from West Ham United, who travelled to a match in Bournemouth they were not even involved in, police have said. The 50 London hooligans hired a coach and travelled 115 miles to spark a mass brawl before Cardiff's Coca-Cola Cup tie on Tuesday night.
Police are now studying CCTV footage ahead of the league match in Cardiff with West Ham next Tuesday. Dorset Police made four arrests. A Cardiff fan in his mid 20s suffered a broken jaw after being struck by a brick and needed hospital treatment. A second Bluebirds' fan was treated for facial injuries.
Police said that the London hooligans posed as ordinary customers at the Queens Park pub close to Bournemouth's stadium. But on cue, they launched into a rendition of I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, West Ham's trademark song, and started fighting.
The brawl spilled outside and, after a wall was demolished, bricks were thrown. A dozen police officers who were on patrol outside the pub managed to control the trouble and made four arrests.
Inspector Martin Webster of Dorset said Tuesday night's trouble had been well-organised on the part of West Ham hooligans. He said the men were dressed in designer clothing. "Normally with these sort of things we get some sort of prior warning from a network of football intelligence-led police officers. "But we received no information even though it appeared to be very well organised on the part of the fans from London.
"They hired a coach specifically to drive them from London to Bournemouth. They liaised with each other beforehand as they were not wearing their teams' colours. "It appears the Cardiff supporters did not arrange to meet them. "They came here to have a few drinks and then watch the football. On the whole they were well behaved. "But at around 7pm between 35 and 50 people got off the coach and went to the Queens Park pub."
A barman at the pub said: "A coach load from London pulled up and came in and started mingling and acting as normal punters. "Then a few minutes later they started singing I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, and with that all hell broke loose. "It was absolute chaos with people with blood down their faces. It spilled outside and the fighting carried on."
Four coach loads of Cardiff fans and other supporters in cars had travelled down for the game,
Gwyn Davies of the Valleys Rams supporters' club said there was "pandemonium" in the pub. "About 20 or 30 West Ham fans burst in - a few others had been at the bar beforehand. "Our fans defended themselves, and also there were old men there, women and children.
"It was crazy, there was no warning - it was a mild evening and I'd been out in the beer garden talking to police from Cardiff and Bournemouth."
Mr Davies said he believed that the supporter with the broken jaw would need three operations.
A Bournemouth supporter who saw the group moments before the violence started said: "They appeared quite drunk and rowdy.
"I thought it was odd because they had London accents and none of them were wearing any football colours."
Police have arrested two men from London and two from the Bournemouth area for public order offences. They are aged between 19 and 30.
Officers are also examining CCTV footage in a bid to identify the troublemakers and will also report the incident to South Wales Police ahead of Cardiff's game in the Championship against West Ham on 2 November.
But Mr Davies said he did not think there would be trouble.
"We've not had trouble in Cardiff for a good while, the police have got the situation well under control.
"We heard one West Ham fan bragging that they had come down on Tuesday night as that was their chance, as they would not be able to do the same next week."

Eleven fans were arrested after clashing with police during Chelsea's 1-0 win over West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Police in riot gear were confronted by visiting supporters in a corner section of the ground 10 minutes after the Carling Cup tie ended. Scotland Yard confirmed the arrests for alleged public order, drugs and offensive weapon offences.
During the match goalscorer Mateja Kezman was hit by a missile.
It took police 15 minutes to restore order and a child was being treated for injuries relating to a crush.
Kezman refused to talk in detail about the incident afterwards and had a small cut just on the eyebrow above his left eye.
He said: "It was just a small accident, I'm not sure what happened. I am fine."

The 70's had also seen the skinhead fashion in full flow with some clubs having a very small minority who followed the club with the sole intention of causing trouble. But the real hooligan problem was born in the early 1980's with the birth of the Soccer Casual.

The birth of the casual

The early 80's saw the birth of the Casual, out went the previous skinhead fashions and in came Pringle jumpers, Lois cords, Farahs and Burberry scarves. The label was the thing, and the more expensive and exclusive the better. For the first time since the 60's Mod, lads were happy to look trendy and tidy, and these lads would use the terraces at their local club as their catwalks. During the early '80s the choice of menswear in most cities was limited to a few big department stores not like these days. That's why tracking down those obscure tennis shirts became essential for the Casual - Fila, Lacoste, Tacchini etc were the labels of the early '80s.

A lot of the fashion ideas came from abroad, so it's no surprise that the Scousers of Liverpool were at the forefront on the casual movement, their club were regulars in Europe in the late 70s and early 80's thus giving their supporters the chance to shop and thieve their way through Europe. As the grapevine spread news of the Casual phenomenon across the country, a 'uniform' of sorts began to emerge. This could be said to comprise of certain labels such as Slazenger, Lacoste, Ellesse, Burberry, Lois, Kappa, Levis etc. Anoraks, cords and bleached jeans became a regular sight on the Inter City service trains at a weekend. Arguably more importantly were the trainers. The knack of sporting the correct footwear became an art in itself.

The early years of the Scottish Scene

In Scotland Aberdeen Football Club was the first club to have a Casual following. It's pretty much agreed that the Aberdeen Casuals evolved around 1981 after Aberdeen played Liverpool in a European Cup-tie and Aberdeen lads saw the way Liverpool lads were dressed.

The Aberdeen Soccer Casuals (ASC), as the mob became known, contributed to a new style of football hooliganism in Scotland, distinguished not by the previous skinhead fashions but by the wearing of expensive sportswear and designer labels and accompanied by a heightened level of violence. Some Aberdeen lads would make regular trips to London to suss out new fashions and take in the occasional match with some Aberdeen lads forming a friendship with Spurs lads. The shops in London were a big attraction to lads from Scotland due to them stocking clothes and trainers that were not available back home.

As stated above Aberdeen fans were quick to pick up on the Casual phenonomen and the ASC quickly acquired a fearsome reputation throughout Scotland but strangely it was nearly 2 years later before any other team in Scotland had a Casual following. Motherwell were the next team to have a casual mob appear, their name being the 'Motherwell Saturday Service', their younger casuals (under16's) went by the name of the 'Tufty Club'.

During the two previous years Aberdeen Soccer Casuals had been involved in disorder in cities up and down Scotland but had been fighting rival fans and skinheads of other clubs due to no other clubs in Scotland having Casuals even though in England the casual scene was now in full swing with gangs attached to most clubs, skinheads were almost not existent at football grounds. With Motherwell now having a mob of casuals a rivalry quickly developed between Aberdeen and Motherwell Casuals resulting in a number of incidents. One of the worst incidents being in 1983 when the ASC entered the Motherwell section of the ground at Motherwells' Fir Park ground and chased their mob on to the pitch, resulting in the game being held up (there's even a story that Aberdeen's legendary club captain Willie Miller went into the stand to try and calm things down). Then in 1985 47 ASC were arrested after trying to ambush Motherwell Casuals on their way to the stadium for a match in Aberdeen, these arrests resulted in a number of jail sentences.

The mid-eighties

By 1984/85 Casuals had now attached themselves to most clubs in Scotland and were regularly making headlines in the newspapers. The Celtic club newspaper, 'The Celtic View', even went as far as to say that the casual scene was at epidemic proportions in Aberdeen, Aberdeen were able to pull mobs of around 600-700 for home games and up to 350-400 for away games during this period.

Fashions changed weekly but labels such Pringle, Lyle & Scott, Lois, Farah, Ellesse, Fila, Tacchinni, Diadora had fallen out of fashion to be replaced by such labels as Armani, Chipie, POP 84, Chevignon, Aquascutum etc though Lacoste and Burberrys still proved popular.

The casual scene had become such a problem that in the early days Motherwell FC even tried to ban fans that were wearing Kappa kagouls from entering the stadium. As stated above the casuals were making headlines in the newspapers. The Sunday Mail in October '85 ran an article by a journalist who had traveled with the Aberdeen Casuals to match in Glasgow against Celtic, the article when to recount the story of the days events, articles and headlines such as this became common place during the 80's. The Old Firm of Rangers and Celtic are Scotland's top two clubs. Both clubs were well known for their fans unsavory behavior from time to time but strangely enough these two clubs did not grasp the casual phenonomem in the way other Scottish clubs did, in fact Celtic casuals faced heavy opposition from their own fans who regular fought with them, Celtic fans hated casuals. Celtic Casuals were regularly on the receiving end on violence from their own supporters who hated the casuals, though Rangers did manage to pull a reasonable mob of Casuals over the years but not near as big as what some other clubs were pulling such as Aberdeen.

By 1985 Aberdeen Soccer Casuals were still the top mob in Scotland and had a big influence on all the other mobs in Scotland not only in organisation and travelling by train but also fashion. Aberdeen's rivalry with Motherwell decreased as other clubs mobs grew, other clubs in Scotland who had mobs appear during this period were Hibernian (Capital City Service), Rangers (Inter City Firm) and Dundee/Dundee United (Dundee Utility Crew). As the 80's progressed Aberdeen and Hibernian became the two main mobs of Casuals and this resulted in a long list of incidents of disorder between the two rival groups of casuals.

In 1985 a Hibs Casual was kicked unconscious before a game at Hibs' Easter Road ground when the two rival groups clashed and in November 1987 at a game in Aberdeen between the two sides an Aberdeen lad was stabbed by a Hibs Casual. The return fixture at Hibs' Easter Road ground in January '88 saw one of the biggest police operations in Scottish football during that period when Aberdeen took about 600 lads to the game, seeking revenge for the stabbing. During this period clashes at Hibs - Aberdeen matches became a regular fixture, especially at matches in Edinburgh.

During the 80's casuals from Scotland would make regular trips down to England to take in a match and shop for new fashions thus a number of friendships between Scottish and English Casuals developed. Probably the most well known hooligan friendship is Chelsea and Rangers, this friendship developed around '85 after the two clubs played each other in a friendly match and this 'friendship' has existed almost ever since though it's debatable whether it still exists today. Aberdeen's main friendship is with Spurs and Aberdeen lads made regular trips to London for Spurs matches. During the 80's some Aberdeen lads also had a friendship with Leeds United Service Crew. Other friendships between lads of Scottish and English clubs were/are Dundee Utility Crew and Stoke City Hooligans and Hibs Casuals and Oldham Athletic Casuals. Recently there has also been rumors of a friendship between some Hibs lads and Manchester United hooligans.

By the late 80's the Casuals scene in Scotland was in decline for various reasons, many lads had simply just lost interest, some no longer thought it was worth it due to the heavy policing at matches and jail sentences or heavy fines that were being handed out to those arrested for football related offences. It's true to say that the judicial courts were heavy handed when dealing with football related offences. But the main reason for the decline in the casual scene in not only Scotland but also Britain as a whole was the incoming rave/dance scene. Probably the year '88 to '92 saw the whole rave/dance scene in full swing and the ecstasy drug was more of an allure for football lads than the football terraces but this is not to say that this was the end of the casual.

The period from '88 to '92 saw regular confrontations between Aberdeen and Hibs, not to the same degree as previously but Hibs' CCS were now a match for the Aberdeen lads. As stated previously the police was now learning how to deal with groups of casuals leading to the modus oparindia of the casual changing. Mode of transport now changed from the train to coaches and cars, thus helping to escape the watchful eye of the police.

The nineties and onwards

The fashions of the '90s have pretty much stayed to their present day status, labels made popular during '90s were Stone Island, Lacoste, Burberrys, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren and they've been added to over the last few years by labels such Massimo Osti, Left Hand, CP Company, Boneville, Paul & Shark etc

The early '90s saw the numbers drop amongst groups of casuals in Scotland with some teams no longer having any hooligan following at all. By this time the ASC's number had dropped to about 150-200, Hibs the other main mob in Scotland probably had the same numbers around this period and were probably the most active of firms in Scotland during '88 to '92. Some of the clashes involving Hibs casuals outside of Scotland during this period were at Oldham and Aston Villa both in 1989, Millwall in 1990 and they were also involved in disorder at European matches against Anderlecht and Standard Leige in the early 90's during European competitions (UEFA Cup).

The nineties also the Police introduce special units to deal with intelligence concerning football hooligan gangs. Every regional police force in the country had an officer who was responsible for Football Intelligence, it was this officers respsonsibility to gather information on the groups, such as travel plans for matches and what sort of numbers would be travelling. This began to have a devastating effect on the hooligan groups, twice in season 1994/95 a busload of Aberdeen Casuals were stopped on their way to Edinburgh for matches against Hibs. Everybody on the bus was held for 6 hours in a local police station before being released without charge and put back on the bus and given a police escort back to Aberdeen.

In May '94 Aberdeen lads traveled to Utrecht, Holland for a Scotland game against the Dutch, where they joined up with lads from Hibs and were involved in disorder with rival Dutch fans, resulting in around 50 Scottish lads being arrested. This was the first time rival groups had joined up to follow the national team. This again happened at the Euro 96 Championships in England for the England-Scotland match, when Scotland had a mob of around 350-400 Casuals from a number of different clubs, though Aberdeen were best represented with about 120 lads present. Scottish fans, mainly Casuals were involved in running battles with English fans and police in Trafalgar Square and a group of about 250 Scottish Casuals managed to break free from Trafalgar Square and attack a bar of English in Leicester Square before the match.

The late nineties saw a major development in the hooligan scene in Scotland, with the formation of the Scottish National Firm (SNF). Some of the main faces from Hibs, Rangers and Hearts casual firms got together to form a National Firm, they tried also to recruit Aberdeen into their ranks, but Aberdeen lads refused on a number of occasions to join. Not all hooligans from Hibs, Rangers and Hearts were involved in the idea, infact it's probably realistic to put the SNF's hardcore number at 60 at their peak, infact the idea lead to a major falling out amongst Hibs hooligans and the group split, some lads lost all interest and retired from the scene, others continued to follow Hibs. Bad blood continued between Aberdeen and the SNF, coming to a head at the 1998 World Cup in France where as pre-arranged fight was organised for Bordeaux between the ASC and the SNF. Police intelligence prevented the fight, in fact a bus carrying 52 members of the SNF from their hotel in Spain to Bordeaux was stopped by Spanish and French police who had been monitoring the groups activities throughout their stay in a Spanish holiday resort, where they were staying prior to travelling to Bordeaux in France. The 52 SNF lads were sent back to Spain and eventually returned home without clashing with the Aberdeen Casuals.

Since the '98 World Cup the SNF has fallen somewhat by the way side with most of the group splitting and some going back to their respected teams, though bad blood still exists between Hibs lads who joined the SNF and the ones who did not. The reason for the formation of the SNF is difficult to pinpoint a number of different reasons can be found, political as well as drug dealing but it was something that had a major effect on hooliganism in Scotland and especially the Hibs firm.

With not much opposition in Scotland these days the ASC now picks only a handful of games a season to take a mob to, though there is always some sort of turnout of ASC at every game. During the last couple of seasons the ASC have taken an early morning train to away games. One such occasion was in May 1997 when a mob of 70 ASC took the 0700 hours train to Kilmarnock for the last game of the season and were involved in serious disorder in the town centre, resulting in serious damage to a Kilmarnock mobs pub as well as a couple of police being badly injured. On returning to Glasgow after the game the ASC were involved in trouble with rival Rangers fans in the city centre. The Rangers fans had just returned from Edinburgh where Rangers had been playing Hearts. A number of ASC were arrested for the Kilmarnock incident and narrowly avoided prison sentences, receiving heavy fines instead.

The previous pre-season Aberdeen lads were involved in running battles with Everton lads in Aberdeen city centre before and after a friendly match between the two sides, again this resulted in a number of arrests on both sides, after the trouble was caught on CCTV. Again heavy fines were handed out, with the lads narrowly escaping jail sentences. The following pre-season Aberdeen took about 70-80 lads to Rotherham and was involved in trouble in Sheffield, where most of the ASC were staying for the weekend. The Aberdeen lads clashed with some Sheffield United hooligans (Blades) in Sheffield city centre during the evening.

Present day

The ASC's number has continued to drop to it's present hardcore of 50, though for big matches the ASC still pull upto 200 lads. Though police intelligence prevents trouble there are still occasionally some good battles and a game against Rangers is now seen as the big match and usually guarantees trouble of some sort. As recently as April 2000 Aberdeen and Rangers casuals clashed in Aberdeen city centre after a match, 17 arrests were made but the charges against them were later dropped when the police came under investigation for miss use of their batons during the disturbances. There was also trouble in May 2001 when Aberdeen Casuals clashed with Rangers lads in a pre arranged battle in Glasgow City Centre where the Aberdeen lads had stopped off on their way to a match at Motherwell. A pre-season tour of Denmark saw 15 ASC fight a running battle with 35-40 Brondby Southside for arounf five minutes after their pre-season friendly match in Copenhagen before police and security managed to restore order.

A full on revival of the casuals' scene in Scotland will probably never happen though recently a number of old faces have started to reappear. The only two mobs that seem active at the moment are Aberdeen and Rangers though there are still a few lads at clubs such as Falkirk and Hibs who seem to be present at some matches and Mother well also seem to be putting a mob together again especially for matches against Aberdeen.

The above article only gives a very brief history of the casual scene in Scotland, I've only mentioned a small number of incidents between rival groups and have tried to give a more detailed review of the history of the culture from early development to present day, there are many violent incidents involving rival casuals that could be listed. During it's peak in the mid-80's the casuals scene was a youth culture, many would argue that a casual was not a hooligan but that a casual was a youth phenomenon, nowadays the lads involved are true lads who enjoy their football, love their club, like their designer clothes and enjoy the involvement in violence with rival groups.

MORE than 200 Welsh football hooligans have been barred from going to the World Cup.

Despite Wales not qualifying, the yobs will have to hand in their passports this week to stop them travelling to Germany.

In all, 208 known Welsh hooligans, who all have a history of football violence, are banned from attending overseas football matches and will face the same sanctions as England supporters.

Each of them will have to report to their local police station and hand in their passports on Tuesday - 10 days prior to the opening match - and on every England matchday during the tournament to prove they are in the country.

Of the 208, there are 130 from South Wales, 50 from North Wales, 25 in the Gwent area and three in Dyfed-Powys.

POLICE in East Anglia have launched a major operation to stop football hooligans travelling from the region to the World Cup finals.

Officers have pledged to be vigilant at the region's ports and airports to prevent troublemakers heading out to the tournament, which starts in Germany on June 9.

They will also be monitoring more than 50 known hooligans from Essex and Suffolk, who are banned from attending overseas football matches.

The thugs, who are linked to a number of clubs including Ipswich Town and Colchester United, will be reminded of their obligation to surrender their passports before the World Cup begins.

Essex Police Special Operations Chief Inspector Jon Dodman said: “We have got an operation running at Stansted Airport and Harwich International Port which is to stop people on banning orders leaving the country.

“We are also visiting people with international football banning orders and serving them with a letter reminding them of the conditions. We will give them the opportunity to surrender their passports there and then.”

There are 2,300 football “supporters” in England and Wales banned from travelling to the World Cup, including 42 from Essex, 10 from Suffolk and 15 from Norfolk.

Football hooligans from 10 Belgian clubs held an ill-fated summit this week in the eastern city of Hasselt to prepare for next month's World Cup.

Reports appeared in the Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg today.

Groups of hooligans from around the globe are reported to be preparing a 'third world war' for football's showcase event, which Germany is hosting from June 9 to July 9.

The Belgian daily said the hooligans, avowed enemies during the normal season, gathered on Wednesday to try to form a 'united front' against violent supporters from other countries.

It said the summit, held in a bar where a World Cup warm-up match between Belgium and Turkey was being screened, collapsed amid disaccord. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.

Fights broke out and the violence escalated as the hooligans called in reinforcements with their mobile telephones. They reunited when police arrived, turning together on the local constabulary.

Twelve people were arrested, the newspaper reported.

A judge has upheld a 10-year order banning a Hertfordshire football hooligan from matches.
Jason Marriner,38, from Stevenage, was exposed on TV as a member of the notorious Chelsea Headhunters.
He sought to have the banning order reduced, but undercover detectives from the Met police's football intelligence unit gave evidence that he continued to mingle with Chelsea thugs.
On one occasion, Marriner was spotted with 100 known thugs in a London pub.
A detective, who could not be named because of his work, said: "It was virtually a who's who of Chelsea hooligans and included in the pub was Marriner. He was drinking with the rest of the group.
"It is fair to say the main organisers were there along with lots of the younger group who are emerging.
"They see Marriner and his contemporaries as idols, I'm reluctant to say."
On April 29 he was spotted near Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium before a match against Manchester United selling DVDs and a book thought to be about his exploits as a hooligan.
Marriner, who runs a flower stall at various markets, including Hemel Hempstead, also has his own hooliganism website.
The detective added: "Jason Marriner is still actively involved with hooligans around England.
"If this was not so serious with the World Cup coming up and the impending season this application might have been seen as funny. At the present time he's still a risk to public order."
Judge Charles Byers, sitting at London's Blackfriars Crown Court, rejected Marriner's application for a reduction in the ban and ordered him to pay court costs of £600.
In December 2000 Marriner was jailed for six years for his part in organising a mass brawl with Leicester fans.
He had been exposed as a hooligan aligned with racist far right groups by BBC journalist Donal MacIntyre during the late 1990s.
His barrister, Michael Wolkind QC, told the judge he hoped to take his children to matches.

Police carried out dawn raids today in a clampdown on violence at Millwall football matches.
Scotland Yard said 16 people were arrested as part of Operation Devine, the Metropolitan Police response to disorder at Millwall games by both home and away supporters.
A spokesman said the raids followed phase one of the operation on March 21, which saw 10 men arrested and charged with violent disorder.
Additional suspects were identified from CCTV footage recovered from within Millwall's ground during recent matches.
All those arrested were identified at disturbances during the Millwall v Wolves game on January 21 and the Millwall v Crystal Palace match on February 18, which involved Crystal Palace supporters, the spokesman said.
"Today's arrests, which took place at addresses in both London and Hertfordshire, demonstrate the robust approach taken to tackle those who seek to act violently in the name of football," he said.
Police will seek to gain banning orders on those arrested which will prevent them entering all Premiership, League and Conference grounds.
Superintendent BJ Harrington, leading Operation Devine, said: "Those identified and arrested as part of today's pre-planned operation have used the veneer of football to legitimise senseless violence.
"We recognise that the majority of football fans just want to enjoy the game, and as such we know that they, and the football clubs involved, support all police activity in removing violent disorder from in and around the grounds.
"We will work closely with the courts to ensure that banning orders are imposed, which in turn will prevent them from causing any further trouble at future matches."
Millwall chief executive Ken Brown said: "The success of Operation Devine is good news for football fans and good news for Millwall Football Club.
"It sends out a clear message that the minority who seek to use football matches as an excuse to exhibit violent behaviour will be prosecuted. We operate a zero tolerance policy in respect of such behaviour at Millwall and fully support the police in their initiative.
"The vast majority of decent law-abiding fans who watch matches at The Den can be reassured they will continue to be able to watch football in a safe environment."
Crystal Palace Football Club management added: "Behaviour of this nature by a small number of our supporters - be it at home games or away - is unacceptable and brings the club into disrepute. We promote ourselves as a family club and will continue to work closely with the police to stamp it out of the game."

Leading Romanian clubs Steaua and Dinamo Bucharest have been fined and their stadiums banned over racist behaviour from players and fans last weekend, the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) said on Friday.

Steaua players joined their fans after a 2-1 away win over Sportul Studentesc last Sunday and shouted racist slogans against bitter rivals Rapid Bucharest.
Dinamo supporters insulted a coloured Arges Pitesti player throughout their 1-0 away victory on Saturday.
Both Steaua and Dinamo will play their next match at home behind closed doors," FRF disciplinary commission head Doru Viorel Ursu told reporters.
"And both teams were fined 30,000 Swiss francs ($24,630) each."
Steaua, top of the first division with 58 points, and Rapid, two points behind with two matches remaining, are the main contenders for the Romanian league title.
Dinamo, who have changed coach several times this season, are fourth with 52 points and struggling to qualify for the UEFA Cup. Sportul Studentesc are third on 53.
Last year, UEFA banned Steaua's stadium for two matches and fined the club after fans' racist behaviour against Irish side Shelbourne's two coloured players during the home leg of their Champions League preliminary round tie.

HenriLloydWest (hooligansnews) все записи автора German and Polish hooligans will present the biggest risk of violence at the World Cup finals in Germany, Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said in a newspaper interview on Monday.

"The biggest problem we have is with German hooligans. We must not place the blame on neighbouring countries," Schaeuble told Der Tagesspiegel newspaper.

"However, it is true that Poland has a hooligan problem. We are working with the Polish authorities. Our cooperation is going so well that I will attend the match between our two countries with my Polish counterpart Ludwik Dorn."

Germany's match with Poland in Dortmund on June 14 is the focus of particular security concerns and those fears were fuelled after Polish football fans fought running battles with police in Warsaw at the weekend.

But Schaeuble said officials believed violence could break out in the centres of any of the 12 cities hosting matches during the June 9 to July 9 tournament.

"I am not worried about the World Cup stadiums, because they are well-secured. But we will be confronted by a new sort of fan tourism. Hundreds of thousands of people will gather in the centre of cities."

At all of the main meeting places in the cities, dozens of video cameras will keep watch on the crowds.

"Our officials will spot immediately where trouble is starting. Surveillance scares people off," Schaeuble said. "On all of the biggest city squares everyone has got to expect to be filmed."

Schaeuble confirmed that the Iranian government had expressed concern that its team was at risk of an attack.

"We promised special liaison staff for all of the World Cup bases. The Americans will also have that because they are a potential target too."

Although there is currently no indication that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to Germany to watch the finals, Schaeuble said Germany was obliged to open its doors to him.

"If he travels with the team we have to let him in, but we will tell him that his statements are unacceptable."

Ahmadinejad denies the existence of the Holocaust and has called for Israel to be wiped from the map.
